Pixar
I have liked most of pixar's movies, i think the only one i haven't liked is Cars, it was damn boring, but the rest were fun and lovely, it is still dissapointing that all cartoon movvies that come out now are CGI family comedies... aww well..
KungFuHustle
See it everytime i find it on tv, it is awesome.
..::the future of animation::..
I believe that as our generation gets older there will be more adult oriented animated movies. Sure it's going to take awhile for people to accept it, but some of us went through adolescance watching the Maxx on MTV and some heavy shit from Japan and I think there's a market for that in the US.

PinkSkull I like your new sig. :D
KUNG FU!
I dont much mind thoes king of movies i mean there cool and everything just not my favorite. :D Ya know.
Kung Fu Hustle
Probably ONE OF the WORST movies I've ever seen. Don't even try and disagree!
Unfair Animating Future
I feel as if sooner or later that making a game or animating a movie like Brackenwood, etc. will become at least 10 times easier. I think that it'll be totally overused and there will just be spamming of these amazing movies, which will just be all over and no one will watch them. I don't know what will happen to the rest of us, seeing as I don't see how you could make much more of animating from where it is now, but ... who knows?

I like to see them for a laugh, the funny and exagerated ones, they are just too stupid XD
The Nightmare bfore christmas
Everybody loves it. ANd I have never been able to see more than 5 minutes... i just dont enjoy musicals (except for the phantom of the opera <3) or claymations... I know they took about 10 years making it, but i just cant stand all those songs.. x.x

I dont think that. I think it will get easier, with more advanced filters and stuff, but wont get piss easy. It'll be a looong time before everyone could make a brackenwood.

I think theres alot of charm in the really handmade looking things anyway... theres something quite beautiful about a raw unpolished looking movie sometimes... like theres some artists whos styles are very unashamed that they ARENT the next brackenwood and it works out just as successfully.. know what i mean?

Too late :P
At least try some justification for dissing one of the most enjoyable good films ever made.
More films
So I saw Seven Samurai last night - goddamn is it long. I didn't realise until about two hours in when I checked the back of the box - running time 190 minutes!? It's an awesome film, and the characters are cool as (the main guy really reminds me of Lee Van Cleef), but I think there should be some sort of warning on the box against starting to watch it at ten at night when you're already dozing off (yeah, I alternate between insomnia and hypersomnia).

Yeh, the rough sketchy flashes. My fav flash animation is Penndragon by SpaceJelly, these kind of animations are just amazing.

Ok.
It's not right for young lungs to be coughing up blood!
Pixar
Some great films,. some not so great. The incredibles was , incredible, i liked the way they kept a 'real life' feel to it, even though it was a bunch of 3D, cartoony, superheroes. Anyway, not all great (Cars) but still a good company.
3D > 2D?
DO you think, that in the future, most forms of art, design, websites and games will all have a £D element to them? I think sites and design will, although standard, hand drawn art can never be beat. Although, the way its going, except for the lonely Alien Hominid, the games industry seems to be trying to perfect £D, before they've perfected 2D.
Anyway, what does everyone think, will 3D one day overpower 2D completely?
Re:3d > 2D?
I was playing super smash brothers yesterday and i thought how the characters are 3d but in a 2d world was cool. I dont think we should discuss whether theyve perfected 2d/3d and instead venture on and discover it ourselves! hoorah!

In my oppinion, if i want realistic stuff ill go outside haha, 2d is more qwerky and fun
I dont think 2D will ever die out fully, 3D just might be used more often.
3D > 2D
As far as gaming is concerned, I'm reliably informed by my more informed friends that the market's growing at such a rate that you have to buy a new graphics card every week to stay up to date (slight exaggeration probably, but yeah). That alone should tell you plenty - until the industry and consumers realise that something doesn't have to be only playable on 5% of peoples' computers to be any good, people will keep trying to push the boundaries with the idea that MOAR vectors and MOAR cycles and MOAR dimensions automatically make something of a higher quality.
Anyway, 3D has a higher number in it than 2D, so it must be better.

Ewwwwwwwww why would you go out there the air ..... its.... its so.... fresh :D.
..::dimensions of animation::..
Two dimentional animation and games will never be completely taken over. Photography never overtook painting, painting evolved. There will always be a market for two dimentional animation but some of it will incorporate 3d technology and vice versa (Example: Futurama).
People just have a hard-on for 3d animals going on crazy adventures at the moment, but people change and culture changes. I look forward to more evolution in the 2d industry. Like I said earlier, I think there is a market for more adult oriented animation in the west, Adult Swim and South Park proves that there is.
It's not a matter of one being better than the other they areseperate entities.

3D...2D
Is anyone here actually for 3d? I think 2d for animation and 3d for games (console).
Excluding AH :)
Shit, a feel sorry for this thread at times.. look at the idiot who made the first reply to this thread.. he probably had no clue he was talking to a Mod.. lmao.

No need to patronize
Actually I kind of like that first response to this thread.. i think sometimes people lose sight of the fact that we are forum users just like you, its ok to disagree with me or any other mods. I rarely have a need to ban anyone and actually most flash mods dont and so in a way this place is much safer than general forum and i really intend to keep it that way.
You accidentally post in a wrong thread over in general and you are banned for it... even though part of the forum experience is to be able to poke in and out of thread.
Well i cant speak for everyone obviously but seriously no need to kiss up or hold your tongue if you have something important you want to say. I recall getting into a heated argument with authorblues about cs3 not long ago, and in the end i learned a bit more about the angle he used and vice versa.. even tho we dont agree its cool to see people stand up for waht they believe in..

..::Praise Mod::..
I disagree entirely with Luis. You will all be banned unless you kiss my ass 24/7. I will rule this land with an iron fist and give you unfairly long bans. You have been warned. Grr...

I agree entirely with Luis. Anyone caught kissing Kraig's ass with be banned. You have been warned.

Kirk 1 - Kraig 0
Luis never suggested banning for sucking up to me. Don't put words in his mouth.
