Flash and Vista

This may be an old topic, but it's pissing me off. When I first open Flash, it makes my computer run like shit. Every program other then flash can't even process anything. Windows media player stops responding, firefox greys itself out, and I can't even open Task Manager to see what's going on because apparently there isn't enough memory for me to open it. But Flash runs just fine, like there is no problem with the computer at all. (Memory leak, maybe?)

This effect wears off if I keep Flash open for about 2 hours, if it can even stay open that long. About every hour Flash just closes itself out. I used to get an error message, and Windows would warn me that Flash was closing, but I don't even get that anymore. I can be in the middle of drawing something, or exporting a movie and the whole program just disappears. I have to save my work ever 2 minutes to make sure that I don't loose anything, because I have no idea what's making it close itself like this.

Everything was going fine with Vista until Flash started doing shit like this -_-. Is anyone else here having problems with Vista? I use CS3, btw, but I tried reverting back to flash 8 and it does the same thing.
