La Strada dell Arte Festival
Newgrounds.com sponsored me to make a street painting at the La Stada dell Arte Street Painting festival, which is taking place in Napa at Copia. I have been working on a giant 8'x8' chalk painting of Bitey, it's been a lot of work. Here is the final product:

That's really nice chalk art, right there. What are some of the other artists' drawings like?

Wow jtmb, really great job. It's amazing how well you can draw using chalk. Last time I tried, I'm pretty sure my signature character (Emos) looked more like a stick than himself...
I've gone and become an SSBB addict... what to do, what to do...

Yeah, that's really cool. I couldn't imagine drawing something so well on such a large scale.
But John, I'm waiting for the action shot of you at work on it.

Wow, very very well drawn, one of the best and unique chalk drawings i've seen so far.

This Is Mushroom Kingdom!
Mario, 300.
Good ol' Mario parodies.
Too many?
I think we're getting bombarded with too many collabs. I don't mind the occasional collab, but when this happens (see pic, real screenshot), it just seems a little out of control.
I agree Hashbrown.
Also i see you put that pirate video i showed you in your sig :3.
Collab Craze
They also really annoy me when there are heaps around, I know I am sounding a bit hypocritical having one currently open but they can really get to me too, I think that the BA should be upped to about 3.5 at least because now pretty much anyone with three submissions under there belt can start a collab and usually will. Also there should be something that makes it so they are your 3 submissions that make your BA, I hate it when people ride collabs to a 3 or more BA and then start there own ones.
</hypocritical opinion>
.
i dont like it when people make collab (exaple cant reach the screen), and they really suck. but if there are good collabs i believe the more the merrier, as long as people actually do good work instead of work like this: http://denvish.net/ulf/290407/30189_crts_sunk ai.swf

yes, but the difference is, yours is an origional idea plus it has been orginised well enough that its finished by page 12 and were now just talking to each other in the thread lol. The collab got finised very quickly because it was such a good idea.
Chalk
Amazing stuff John. Have you emailed Adam Phillips about it, i'm sure he'd like to know ;).
Collabs
I do think that there are way to many collabs at the moment, but in all fairness, i'll probably be adding to the list soon :P. I ahve had my collab planned for at least 5 months though, so its not as if i am trying to join the rush. It might be a smart move to wait until they are all over though, so i don't get lost amongst a sea of people :P.
The pixel collab was great and original, so no one should have anything against that :).
Flour art
looks awesome, i came buckets :D!
Collabs, again
heyyy stop bringing up olc topics lads...

Very Odd Flash Error(Glitch)
I'm having a weird error with one of my flashes. I made a .fla with AS3 compatablility, then i decided AS2 could do 100% of what i wanted, so i siwtched the publish settings to AS2. I then coded all of the buttons with 1 'for();' loop in AS2. The weird thing is, that they don't work in that document, but the exact same buttons and code work in a document that was originally set for AS2?
Anyone have any idea why flash (CS3 Trial) is doing this?
I always thought this song might makea nice little music video or collab, but I lack the patience and skill to do it :( Linky
Glitches
Now that you mention it, I also have a glitch, whenever I try to import a sound onto flash (Cs3 trial) it says somthing like "One or more imported files could not be read." The files I'm importing are .wav I tried converting them to MP3 but it still says the same thing.

I think someone did use this song for a flash on pirateclock day (/anti-clock day). Unfortunately I can't give you a link because I don't know what it was called.
.
'Glitches'
righto, the AS3/2 problem is that AS 3 is totaly different from '2 and seems to be completly fucked when it comes to convertingingness..
the 2nd, if the fiel wont import into flash, it's either not compatible, ebing used by another program or curropt.

It seems really original and the animation is fluent between pieces, albeit it is a bit long. I just joined a random collab for the sake of it to fit in now, it seems like the bbs is just flooded with collabs. I like some collabs but your all right, people tend to take advantage of it. 3.5 should deffinitly be the bar for collabs.
