Yeah, there's a bunch of good regs here, but they are also outside this thread. It's just a good way to basically clean up. When a topic deserves it's own thread, its best to go at it.

Badgers are cool. They live under the deck in my garden. Infact, most of the animals that unwittingly inhabit my garden are quite cool, including pheasants (tasty) squirrels (bitey) and dogs (noisy).

Its not really frowned upon.. just that if there is a thread that is more suited for a WIP of that type then its better for everyone to just post it there rather than here... that pico WIP is a good example... hes likely to get more out of it by posting in a thread tailored for that kind of work.. usually work in progress can be posted here in moderation.

You WOULD use JavaScript. The idea would be on the mouseover in the Flash, use getURL() to call a JavaScript function embedded in the actual page that expands a div or something which is layered over the page, and you're just jumping to a new frame within the actual Flash.

K the date is gonna be May 26th (80% sure), Memorial Day holiday is when everyone is on the road and thats not fun so no on that date.. and earlier than that is not doable.

More details forthcoming but its a fairly low key event, just a few people getting together for a bit, maybe grab some grub and wander about the city... and then you can leave after that if you found us boring or we can think of something else to do.

im gonna be staying the night there so if you feel like crashing at the hotel feel free just dont piss on the floor... if this goes well we could probably do it again late summer.

Unlike NG, I think DA has a slow connection rate, because they have more crap, they've got well over the millions in accounts and submissions, because people just make little drawings or take pics of their dogs, and they put it on there, their meter at the top of the site which shows how many usbmissions goes up practically every second, and the constant rate of submissions really slows it down. I have high speed (not lite, not medium, good high speed) and it lags and is really slow, its the site itself.

With lipsync, it's motion tween, I hate using shape tweening. And good for you, with the FBF. I just am one of those people who aren't good at it. Even though I'm trying FBF when it would look better.

May 26th is most likely good for me. I don't have anything planned then, but of course I usually don't plan things that far in advance. It'll probably be perfect. I know the city pretty well so as far as getting around I suppose I could point you in the right direction. SOHO is the most fun. Anything in particular you want to see or do? And where is the wild boozer I have been anticipating. Is grabbing grub and gallivanting around Luis's hotel room without alc alc?

Someone should keep a list of how many people are definitely going and probably going...cause i've completely forgotten...I am excited though, this should be a lot of fun.
