Hot Weather
blah, yes, it's been ridiculous the past few days for heat. I went over to the East Coast and it was ridiculously hot, more hot than California. I was quite surprised. And the thunder was crazy too, makes me realize how inferior the East Coast is.

Its over 40ºC where I live mostly since middle february thru early december, tho recently we've been having some weird chilly winds, the weather is crazy, one day it is hot, the other it is fairly cool, does this have to do anything with global warming/nuclear war/other shit? or that is just a myth used from the goverment to sacer us?

Mine was "Different effects of Candies on Diet Coke". It moved me on to regionals, so something along those lines might work for you.

East vs West
Well, I guess you have a point there about the seasons. Not all of Cali is liked that though. Our temperature in Davis drops to 20 F in winter, and over 110 F during Summer. I have never lived in the snow though, I totally have missed that experience.

Teaching Today
I am going to be teaching a college class today for the first time, as part of my graduation plan which will be ending in Summer. I will be teaching Max/MSP/Jitter, a visual object oriented programming language for artists and musicians. Yeah, its not Flash, but it should still be interesting to be a professor instead of the student :).

Premade Fla's

I think graphics-wise, if you are an in an industry where you need graphics quickly and have the money to do so, it's okay if you are paying for it, such as from stock photos or FLA sites. For leisure, I think its a bit of a stretch buying or borrowing work.

Programming-wise, I feel like source FLA's are okay for reference but never as a modular copy and paste system. If you want to learn something complex, sometimes looking at a completed file will help enormously. But once again, it's just plagiarism to copy and paste a document, and shouldn't be allowed. I can tell when a document is hijacked and reskinned with the same programming, I swear I have seen some Flashkit tutorial files nearly 4-5 times now.
