Animator vs. Animation 2 has now been submitted to newgrounds and is currently at 4.61. Have you ever seen a flash at such a high rating? whether it be at 25k views or like 1k, I have never seen such a ridiculously high score. The flash is great, besides the fact that it uses a stick figure, I just have never seen such a high score. Crazy? Maybe...

Contributing to the previous conversation, I'd have to agree that the overall quality of flash has been declining here on Newgrounds. I used to watch every flash on frontpage, simply because I knew they'd be great. Now I play the odd game with a good description, and movies by authors I know. Frontpage doesn't feel the same anymore.

Yeah I've noticed the same about the frontpage and the decreasing quality of flash has been discussed before. I just click maybe three things on the frontpage usually for each change.

Yep, the quality's dropped. Nothing really looks really great anymore. I swear, either everyone's running out of ideas, or everyone's just too lazy to animate and code better.

Good thing I have a popup blocker. The worst ones are either the flashing, seizure-inducing ones that claim you've won a prize, or those smiley-face ads that make some stupid sound when you mouse over them ("Oh my god, no way!").

I really don't like the whole Animator Vs. Animation ..flash. It just doesn't soothe my taste of talent. It's a nice flash and all, but it's just not..good. The guy just brought it around NG because he wanted to claim a prize and award. Everyone saw it on his site and he probably thought, heck I can get a big hit from this. The first one was okay but the second one was extending the limit.

Animator vs Animation
I found part one boooooooooooooooooooooring. Maybe the animations is smooth and all, but the concept just didnt entertain me. I like more a good storyline than super visuals. I havnet watched number2, but imo the whole idea of a sequel seems unoriginal, and comercial or just to make people happy..

Animator vs Animation
Maybe you guys' have different expectations when judging a flash. I really like the first and second because it is so original, can you find another related flash around the portal? (animation invasion comes after that btw) Plus the author uses the windows visual environment wisely and creatively. These are something worth praising on, imo originality comes first, storyline and graphics comes second.
