Its not that you forgot. Its that you never really knew. People these days will study for a test and then afterwards immediately forget. No one absorbs any knowledge. Its lame. I would get worse grades in most all of my classes than many people but in a few years I still remembered the concepts at least while other people had completely forgotten them.

Sprites

If say somebody was to make an animation using there own sprites instead of ripping them from a computer game, would that make the movie more crdible in your oppinion. Even if the story wasnt as good or whatever would you like it more if all the graphics were created by the animator?

Usually I say I'm fine even I clearly don't mean it. If I'm in a bad mood when I say it, I usually just grumble it. Sometimes I say no, and people just get exasperated towards me.

True. In maths we're doing something related to something we did 5 months ago and I barely remember any of the mathematical names of stuff. As for languages, I don't really forget them. Sometimes I forget some words in Hebrew cause I haven't lived in Israel for over 3 years, but I can still correct the errors on your web site :P languages = easy, just like any other syntax based programming language.

I also have a WIndows 93 laptop with 16mb RAM which I could also get by with if I needed to, I just wouldnt be able to Flash...

Animation/Music

When starting a flash, will you set the animatino/sotry around music or try to get/make msuic to go with the animation?

I always get the tune/sound first before i star, so i have somehting to base the animation around.

I build the animation around the music, most of the time anyway. Usually, it's the music that inspires me to make something.

It really depends. If you're making something with a lot of talking, then you are probably not gonna base the animation around music. If it's action based with very little dialog then I will always use the music to guide the movement. Obviously, a music video relies on the music.

Is there a way to.. like,
make a buton in flash that when you click it it opens a word document?

I know very little about AS but I know what SHOULD be possible. That sounds extremely unlikely. For you to open a document in word you would need to have it on your computer. You might be able to put the file online and make it so that when you click the button it would install it from a URL and you could then open it. Otherwise, I don't think thats possible. If thats good enough then that would work.

Clever animation

I really like Rtils stuff, normally. This wasn't great, but Flash Extravaganza was fantastic. Anyway, its a nice technique, although i think a blur filter would make it look even better ;).

How could they track him? Anyway, i hope its true, he deserves what he gets really.

Hmmm, i suppose, but its not as if GoldenCat would've kept the whole virus thing secret. He made a thread advertising it on their forum and the responses he got showed that people were supporting him.

The people in the SS were the people who could've told him it's a bad idea and talked him out of it. They could've at least chucked him out the SS, but no. They're more than happy to accept him in their community and laugh with him about the people getting affected. Anyone who had the power to at least try to discourage GoldenCat but chose not to, is as bad as GoldenCat humself.

kinda like those movies and games that have amazing water animations but they don't really mean anything, they're just there to show off and make it all look prettier

just talkign about effects that are just little and have nothign to do with the whole thing..

needless things.. like when people use filters when they are just not needed, yes it makes it look nicer but its very unessery :P

Epic Flash

Everyone eventually makes a flash so amazing it is seen as their most epic mvoie ever < untill topped>. my most epic would probs be Canada's Really Big or AM7, but i cna easily beat them.. so, what do you consider your epic movie, and will you ever beat it :O?

p.s. my epic movie is sitll int he works, making rediciously long aniamtions is hard.
