Warrior Discos Thingy
Please, i really need some opinions :).
Hmm... it's entertaining enough for a first watch, but not really enough going on visually to just stare at it. I mean say if you had loads of effects going on in different layers... or maybe if you had some shifting textures or something.
Just now, it's got some way groovy patterns, but nothing that seems really lovely and entices me to pay close attention.
RE: Flash on phones
I was emailed by this company, SMC or something, several times about this. They said all I had to do was register, submit my file, and it would automatically convert to a cellphone game (that's the summed up version).
However, I said no, and I didn't feel it was legit, at all. I didn't like the feeling of giving out my home address and secure information on a registration form for something I may or may not do. Either way, looked fake, sounded like bull.
I told the guy no and they kept emailing me several times after...
Same happened to me. I didn't really understand it all and I don't like the idea of charging folk for something that isn't fucking amazing.
My mate is putting the finishing touches to a kick-ass Prince-of-Persia style Java game for mobiles. It runs choppily on my mobile, apparantly because the java implementation is a bit shit.
I reckon it'll be a while before we'll be able to do anything that needs fast response in flash.

Firewalls in which you set the rules manually are a great thing for stopping shit like this. I use an old version of Tiny firewall, takes a couple of days to set the rules up to start of with, but if a program on your PC ever tries to connect to the internet, you get told about it and can block it.

I'm not gonna dl that. Dunno if I can trust you...
Also, I can't be arsed with all this technical malarkey of setting stuff up and fiddling with whatever. As long as I don't dl stuff from random sites, I should be fine, right?
