Aww! I'd totally buy that :) But then, I'm a whore for t-shits.
That reminds me; I need to buy some t-shirts!
RE: T-Shirt design

T-shirt
i wouldnt buy it cause its too cute, but its a sweet design. I do agree with the other people though, colours could be improved.
Nice though :)
Paranoia get on msn plz.
T-Shirt
Yeah too gay of a design. Men should not wear shirts with hearts on them.
Or maybe you can put a tag line like 'so I've heard you give good head...'

Personally, that what I like most about it. When you think about it, the current layout is predominately gray.
Motivation
Okay, since this is the reg lounge and I see people from ShirtTurtle to Luis, I'd just like to ask some people's opinions on motivation. Right now, I'm having trouble even starting. Sometimes I just open Flash and quickly exit out. Other times, I start working but come across something that stops my creative streak or looks nothing like what I had in mind.
So I ask you Reg Lounge, what's your motivation for making Flash?
PS: I'm trying to be more of a reg to the flash forum so I'm going to try to be here more.

Cool. More bee-whoring I see. XD. Maybe I should get one.
Congrats on weekly ninth and 4.0+ score!

I got daily ninth.
I feel like of ripped off alot of good submissions that scored below me :(
As I said. ;-)
Well, if you make more things just as good and better, it could lead you somewhere. Think about it, everyone wearing bright, multicolored, Shirt Turtle T-shirts. Its the 60s all over again!
Lols, I got carried away again. :-P

Money of course. Well, no :)
I think it's just get an idea and stick with it. Like if you get something that you really want to do, just start doingit. A good place to start with this in mind is doing game sprites, because you can do one at a time, they're small and simple. Also if you're a little dry on inspiration just have a practice and see what happens.

I did that once, I started on a flash with a not so bad idea but then a tween blew up in my face and nonetheless I was really annoyed. Evil tweens, they keep doing that to me. It happened too me like an hour ago too. Though I am at the moment try to finish my unfinshed stuff and maybe submit it all.

Sounds like a horror movie.
I'M ANIMATINGS TENTACLES!
These guys don't seem to tuff but the planning is a pain but first I'm just gonna have it be a bit "slow" on terms of when it comes to the next movement.
Haven't animated these fellas before but I've noticed how they move about in several ways so I'm going to try and animate thems like waves.
Anything special I need to know about tentacles? I plan on using them a lot.

Try signing up to a temping agency, such as Reed or Brook Street (although I did get fired from Brooke Street after one day on the job).
You could try asking in high shops & supermarkets if there's any jobs going too.

That is a great site Luis (no jobs in Canterbury though :( ). Also I noticed a lot of jobs asked you to specify your own wage! Why would they do this?

So people ask for less than they're worth :)

RE: Jobs
Some jobs are labeled Anywhere. Those are usually freelance gigs that can be done from the comfort of home, occasionally ill do a search for anywhere and find easy money.
Its normally bad practice for companies to specify your salary requirements for a full time career.. i hate it when companies do it and generally the ones that do you have to keep in the back of your mind that they are going to judge you on how 'cheap' you are. Which is against what a creative company genuinely interested in your talents should do. Either way I like to high-ball it... at worse case scenario you wont get the job but if you've blown them away you will be more willing to negotiate it down and not feel ripped off.... Trust me theres nothing worse than getting a job by asking for 30K and eventually learning that someone in the same position as you is making 50k.
For freelance gigs its normal for companies to ask for wage because they arent looking you to hire forever on their payroll, they have a budget and a need and want someone that can meet both. As you do more freelance shit you start to settle in on what youre worth and can better quote yourself. I cant really tell you what that wage is because alot of factors come into play, like where you live, what level of experience you have, and how fast you are.
For instance if I lived in NY my rates would be higher than if i lived in say Wisconsin.

Do not submit copyrighted video clips that you did not make.
I've always wondered, what exactly does this rule mean1? afterall, Knox has his litle dub series that uses clips of movies and the 4th place today uses a clip of a cartoon.
so does this rule only apply to internet basesmovies like the star wars kid and numa numa and not real life stuff :O?
:3?
RE: Copy right
Thats true, knox did those voice overs... I think when you take a movieclip or something thats copyrighted and make money from it then people have problems with you.
RE: Shirtys success!
Congrats on the success, and the T-Shirt is nice, if it had a catch phrase it could be like one of those smart ass Ts.
RE: Yeek'd
I know this is old news but EW that video is full on skank.
