You can't do drugs at Newgrounds? So much for applying to the behemoth.

We'll miss you as staff member, even if you did trip over a few wires occasionally...
The RPG does take longer than expected, but it's not because of the programming. The writing is really time-consuming and I often get writer's block.
Fortunately, I've nearly finished half the game:

Not working for me, it loads about half of the Time Fcuk background and then stops. It's like unity where the entire page freezes in the first few % of the preloader but it didn't unfreeze.

Darn... Strange, it worked on my friend's computer. What are your OS, browser, etc.? It should require no plugins.

Also, would you mind posting a screenshot of what you see? because... my background is nothing like Time Fcuk. Thanks!

It worked now, if you didn't change anything it must have been a weird html5 issue. My background is a blue theme with the time fcuk guy.

Okay, thanks! :) Funny, I used only the DOM and didn't touch the canvas like most HTML5 games. I didn't even much HTML5 to be honest (though I‘ll use lots of CSS3 when I polish the interface)...

Works for me, and I don't think he meant your game is showing up like time fcuk, just that time fcuk is a common background

Whoa... I've never noticed that the background came from Time Fcuk. :O I don't think I ever got past the first few levels of that game anyway.
Automatic compile versioning in haxe, so I can complain about exactly how many hundreds of compiles a project took.
<haxeflag name="--macro" value="Build.build()" />
+
class Build {
public static function build() {
var buildPath = "./assets/build.txt";
File.saveContent(buildPath, Std.string(Std.parseInt(File.getContent(buildPath)) + 1));
}
}
As it approaches midnight here, I can safely say this is the coolest thing I've done this past week. And I finished my RPG earlier today too. And I watched the new show Tyrant (it was great) last midnight. Today was a good day.

Thanks to @PSvils for believing in me and showing me that haxe macros aren't dark magic after all.

Congrats about Juggernaut II! (That reminds me, I've never got that far in Juggernaut: Awakening... Should go back and play there sometime. ><)
PS How many compilations so far?
Just finished the first instalment of Juggernaut. Darn, I remember that lake... I was so close last time...

Dude I hardly remember that game lol. The compiles thing I just got working and it's for haxe, so jugg doesn't have a compile count. The next one will.
Three must-haves for any really bad artist (e.g. me)
1) Flickr
2) Photoshop
3) Fireworks
Uploaded the 3 versions of the game to the artist (ng, non-ng, non-ng without ads). I am done. Brb deleting source code so I can't fix anyone's issues later.

I thought I broke something huge, but when your flash player version is 3 years old, it might not run modern games @VoidForce

Hey, I thought it would have updated along with the browser! Still though, you had a good laugh about it afterwards, right? Please say yes and relieve my guilt!

You made me reopen my code editor! And I have to wake up before noon tomorrow so I can damage control the game when you release it.

We're still waiting... impatiently...
Meanwhile, my RPG is still taking longer than expected. I only have one combat area left. (That means I have to write fight descriptions for three more bosses and three more regular enemies. Writing fight descriptions is really the worst part of text-based RPGs...) Fortunately, most of the 'eye candy' is finished, and all the game mechanics except dying and saving have been implemented.

It was released about 25 minutes ago :P It's in the portal as we speak.

Sorry, I thought it wasn't because it didn't appear in my feed for some reason. I'm checking it out now!

Haha, no worries, I thought it was funny. Hope you enjoy!

Damn, the portal doesn't mess around these days. Admittedly, I haven't really watched or played a submission in a while, and I definitely haven't been on Under Judgement patrol in a long while.
