I think being listed at the top of the game page is worse. It got me a good 10,000 views in a day, but the score went down .4 in that day also. I think people downvote there because they don't think the game was hard enough. I got a lot of low scoring reviews saying it was too easy and I can only imagine that they voted the same way.

I kinda want to change my name, but by now, everything I have an account of is Masterswordman. I was considering to change my name to MasterRebirth 'cause it sounds cooler. But i'm not sure if anyone else thinks its cool too...

I got as far as the place where I fount the stick for the spade. Think I'll quit, mainly because the walking speed is just too slow and really turns the game into a chore for me. Instead of enjoying the puzzles or funny messages or whatever, it seems like a disproportionate amount of time is spent simply holding a button, waiting for the guy to move to where I want him to be.

Any chance of a speed-up or a run button?

I remember Lu said something like rather than it being the official brown paper, it'd just be like white usual paper or whatever, and user sent in rather than him sending out. (I think).

Keep in mind it's not like, you know some big company, it's just Luis and his idea, so make suggestions and shit.

I liked drawing on non-white paper. Made it different.

Us sending paper in would have logistical problems. How to match holes so it goes in a single book? And maybe we need to all get the same size too... It would be rather cool having a crazy sketchbook where each page is different paper though.

I was proud to be part of the last and would love to take part again.

On the new username lockdown, what do you see is right, or wrong about what Tom has done to this feature here at newgrounds. How do you think it will effect the regular community here at newgrounds??

I think its bad, because it was really unique that you could change your username on here, as such a large audience, so its a shame a bit.

Then again, now people cant steal peoples accounts as easily. And you wont get confused when people change their names.

NG Sketchbook Tour 07

No real details on what will or will not remain the same as the past one. Its too far to tell. It usually runs during late spring and wraps up in June so that it can make its debut at the Comic Con in San Diego.
It'll be on white/off white paper this year, the brown paper was expensive and people complained how absorbent it was.

Username lockdown

Before even asking if its a good idea or not it would be smart to realize why the lockdown is necessary. Ng is being transformed into something more immersive with artists being able to have functional profile pages that they can update and call home. After being booted out from SheezyArt I've been looking for a home. I dont like DeviantArt because its too large and I already have my fanbase here. If it takes a lockdown to make that happen. Lock it down this instant. I'm not gonna cling on some petty feature for the sake of growing this site into something more robust.

Name Change

I haven't changed my name since I created this account...or wait...that might be a lie. Yea, this WAS probably something different in 2002 but if I changed it, I changed it only once. Just the fact that I may never get to change it again kinda makes me want to change it. I never liked MethodMinus as a name. I like Method, but its always taken...I also like Minus, but that too is always taken. Together its got a decent ring to it, with some alliteration and shit going on. It is too many characters for many sites so I'm forced to down size anyway (resulting in MethMinus, which I dislike even more). When forced to create something entirely different I came up with Djarum and it is pretty fun having a name that half the people don't know what the fuck it means and the ones that do get a kick out of it. Yet nether group can pronounce it.

I probably will change my name to Djarum in the next few weeks. Who knows. Its not a very good name if I wanted to have a professional career being known by it because its a brand name.

Actually I booted myself. I was really artistic and took great care and time to make my page customized and i made one called emo edition and it had a slit wrist on it. APPARENTLY that is obscenely offensive and i got banned.
Which would be fine if they were consistent if they were gonna be all Disney about it.
But I can go on a page of a popular artist of theirs and see two squirrels sucking each other off and somehow thats OK. Somehow I get banned but someone who draws cartoon animal porn is not only safe but welcomed. FUCK THAT PLACE.
I set my account to have all placeholders. I took my protege Tommy out of there and a few others of my friends i hope that place burns in hell.
And if I could finance a terrorist plane to fly into the basement of the kid who owns sheezy i would.
Dont ask me about sheezy ever again. it makes me very upset.

Somewhere i read a post that said (couldnt find quote) "I'm thinkin of changing my name to 'www'.. it will cause confusion with the lockdown' .. what if that happens.. i dont think it could be a valid name.. but lets say it could.. will people who type 'www.newgrounds.com' be directed to his site (he would get lots of visits..) ? then we could only reach newgrounds by just typing 'newgrounds.com'.. but itll still cause confusion.... hmm....

I have never been fully comfortable with my name.. i was glad that in here i could change it whenever i had a better idea (tho i need to reset firefox)(in DA i got stuck with 'kirehashi'.. anyway by the time i get a better idea for a name i will already be famous with this one.. i just wish i grow to love it and not to be ashamed of.. i dont mind the lockdown now... i dont have a better name.. i actually like this one...
