You will never need the "8-cores" the i7 is boasting (when in fact it's not even 8 cores) for gaming, they user one or two cores tops.
So many things wrong with that, I won't even bother coming up with a refute. I just quoted it to let you know you're wrong and if you don't know why you wouldn't understand the reasoning anyway.
I know for a fact the i7 doesn't have 8 physical cores. It uses hyper threading, which not many games can take advantage of as they have to be able to "see" the virtual cores that hyper threading "creates".
OK, perhaps saying 2 cores tops was a bit low, but even with 2 you can run games at an average to above average rate. All i can do is link to reviews and tests which I don't even know are reliable.
But you don't need 4 cores to play games.
And if your referring to how I tend to word things as being wrong, then that's just silly.

We have it at the office. Its got some neat level designs. Albeit quite brutal and frusterating.
But its one of those games you'll get enraged with and then lose sleep and wake up determined to beat that stupid fucking level.
I know exactly what you mean. It's starting to piss me off a bit because I feel like I have to beat the whole of one chapter before moving onto the next. Light world, all of the dark world and all the bandages have to be collected. It's frustrating to do but I end up feeling more frustrated knowing that it's not finished.
Only just found out it's being released for Wii-ware, PS3 (i think) and PC. God damn, I'm going to have to get it on PC :(
