So many things wrong with that, I won't even bother coming up with a refute. I just quoted it to let you know you're wrong and if you don't know why you wouldn't understand the reasoning anyway.

We have it at the office. Its got some neat level designs. Albeit quite brutal and frusterating.
But its one of those games you'll get enraged with and then lose sleep and wake up determined to beat that stupid fucking level.
Also hi fwe. I havent seen you in a long time

I know for a fact the i7 doesn't have 8 physical cores. It uses hyper threading, which not many games can take advantage of as they have to be able to "see" the virtual cores that hyper threading "creates".
OK, perhaps saying 2 cores tops was a bit low, but even with 2 you can run games at an average to above average rate. All i can do is link to reviews and tests which I don't even know are reliable.
But you don't need 4 cores to play games.
And if your referring to how I tend to word things as being wrong, then that's just silly.

I know exactly what you mean. It's starting to piss me off a bit because I feel like I have to beat the whole of one chapter before moving onto the next. Light world, all of the dark world and all the bandages have to be collected. It's frustrating to do but I end up feeling more frustrated knowing that it's not finished.
Only just found out it's being released for Wii-ware, PS3 (i think) and PC. God damn, I'm going to have to get it on PC :(

Wasn't aware. I just briefly skimmed through some articles and reviews.
This will be the 3rd day I've owned it...

We're not doing this, Ben.

PSP Phone
PSP Phone? Well it is sony and looks like a PSP, but it runs on android? Not sure how this will work out. Let's hope it will work with flash 10.1.

True, we have seen it before, but it's like putting the N64 on a phone, the N-gage was nothing before the phone, the PSP is. Plus that wiki says games will be discontinued at the end of 2010. What phone do you have?

That doesn't look the least bit ergonomic

As long as it runs 2.2 it should have Flash support.

Pretty sure you posted this a while back.
Left one.
That shape just looks bad sliding out, and the "touch" analogue sticks ? wtf sony.
Wtf seriously? I thought the sticks were missing from that prototype. You can't replicate the feeling of the knobbly stick on your finger. Also your hands/wrists will ache from the top heavy design.

The one on the left is terrible. It is wrong in every possible way. Read this: http://dresdencodak.tumblr.com/

To me, the black lines on the right seem to harsh. I like how easy the other is on the eye, the softer blend of colours.

I think the black lines will make it pop more. Also, interesting article toast.

as a side note i hate both of them but the right one definitely looks better.
I'm not going for correctness in any possible way, i'm going towards my own art style and the way i like how things look.

Then it's hard for anyone to give you criticism if you're aiming for your own style. We can either say we like it or not, but if you already like it, you won't regard our opinions.

Yeah you got me. Just wanted to see if people prefer the full black outline or a softer darker color one. I think i'll keep all my thoughts to myself for now on.
Sick of Snow Leopard, piece of shit and so far sick of Leopard. Getting finder crashes all over da shop. Anyone else on Snow Leopard constantly got the 61 finder error, forcing you to restart?
Also, I'm making a creepy sort of game and I hardly see the point in splitting the sponsorship for an audio artist and I'm too lazy to search the audio portal for a good piece. Can I use a track entirely made up of Garageband loops in a game?

Seems like Toast read an interesting article and was looking for a chance to show it to everyone.
Pretty interesting, but doesn't come in argument really, he was asking for advice on the lineart aspect. If I must chose, I go for the one on the right; the left one seems like trying too hard to achieve a certain effect. I just don't like how it merges in with the overly simplistic character.

The only part I seem to contend with is the last bit about NO to DBZ. Isn't the point of all that crazy hair to create an interesting silhouette? Im sure there are plenty of people out there who can easily pick Goku and Vegeta silhouette out of a group of characters. Seems he's just one of those people who automatically bashes anime or something. Not that theres nothing to bash, but silhouette? Its obviously a big part of DBZ character design.
Interesting read none the less.
