And 'Throw Momma from the train.' The original sucked... why bother?

Thank FUCK Stephen Spielberg and Will Smith's remake of OldBoy fell through... that really would have been something!

First proper WC match

That was some shitty refereeing right there. Good match so far though.

So sad, US and the UK, stamped out like so many half smoked cigarettes. The disallowed goal was a pretty fiendish development too. Now I know how my Spanish friend felt after the Spain/Italy match in WC 1994. There is nothing sadder in this world, than watching 8 hardcore Spanish football fans drink themselves into a self-deprecating stupor. :(

I'm just glad Moffat knows how to write a finale. And then some.

Doomsday-One, working on stuff better than preloaders. Marginally.

It was good apart from the fact they never told us who was responsible.

Responsible for what? The cracks in time and space? If so I think the 'silence' mentioned at the end by the Doctor may explain it. Christmas get here nao pl0x. It was a brilliant finale none the less. A brilliant series too, other than that one with the old people.

That was my favourite part. I like a story line that carries on through another season. It stops the whole running out of ideas thing so they have to bring every single baddie aver to the same place then end all existence that ever happened and all those people you thought were dead are back and insurmountable odds are...surmounted.

It's a real word I swear.

Well the cracks were caused by the TARDIS exploding but who made it explode and why was never explained. Amy asked the Doctor who did it, but he dismissed it as a "good question for another day". Who the silence is (Omega please Moffat) and who River is are gonna be revealed next year.

A brilliant series too, other than that one with the old people.

You don't mean Amy's Choice do you? That episode was amazing, certainly better than The Vampires of Venice. The Dream Lord was a great villain and good bit of foreshadowing to The Valeyard.

No seriously, I was hoping the exact same thing earlier. Either him or Rassilon.

Yea that's the one. The dream lord wasn't even a villain. He was the Doctor, Amy and Rorrie on drugs. For me that episode just didn't fit in with the rest of the series. It was the outlier. Nothing about the cracks at all and just ended up confusing me when the cracks came back. Every other episode other than that included something about them. I suppose the Vampires of Venice kinda sucked too though.

They used Rassilon and The Master at Christmas though, probably too soon to bring them back, but Rassilon would be awesome. Either way they need to sort out this last of the Time Lords nonsense and bring them back.

Still not sure if I like the big bad being featured as prominently in every episode this season. RTD probably did it best in series 3 with the "Vote Saxon". The episodes work better as stand alone stories IMO.

How come? It had Timothy Dalton as Rassilon. Try and check them out some time, The End of Time it was called, was a 2-parter.

Saw the first half, which you didn't really see much of the timelords. Was away over New Year. :(

Anyway websites which show Dr Who on?

Baww you can't be serious. The videos are in 350×240 resolution and the whole site is infested with huge ads. Just download a damn torrent so you can watch it at a nice 720p/1080p with no distractions. Also, the finale was pretty nice. A big part of the time that could have been used for epic storyline was wasted on boring scenes of amy's childhood and all that crap. I think they could have pushed the pandorica further. One moment they put the doctor in it and it's supposed to be all epic and shocking like "oh wow, the doctor was actually the most feared thing in the universe, and now he is trapped in this perfect prison - something that no one can break out of", then 3 minutes later he shows up with a fucking fez on his head and tells rory to open the box with his screwdriver. Ok, nevermind the fact that the doctor from the future came back to save the trapped doctor even though the doctor from the future was also saved from a doctor in the future when he himself was trapped, they already explained that stuff a billion times: "wobbly time thing universe". Great. But what's much more disappointing is that the pandorica, the "perfect prison", the thing that could hold anyone, can be opened by nothing more than the flick of a screwdriver. Fun.

The plot often sucked and the story wasn't actually good, but the finale was fun and exciting to watch most of the time.
