Damn. TomFulp was pretty close to programming my game, and he said he can't be distracted by some other projects he has going on. Life goes on.
So I'm back on the hunt for a nice lil programmer.
Told ya mate, I don't want to bash your ambition but don't be so quick to announce your success. First you were talking about a glorious collaboration with tom and that utah guy, now you don't have tom anymore, and for all you know, you might not have utah tomorrow either.
If you come out with a finished game by tom and utah out of the blue without anyone even knowing your name, it would be pretty cool (even though you actually don't program or animate, or am I misunderstanding?). If you announce it the minute you get a PM back from him, but you still manage finishing the project, it's still cool. But guess what. Most chances are that things you start won't be finished. It's just a rule of life. Ask any independent game developer you want - how many games he started, and how many he finished.
