I think that since flash player really isn't that big in memory games should just play in the flash player versions they were created in.

Like I said a few posts back. I was on AG since 05 to 09.

In 05 it was maximum 70-90 Thousand plays on a very popular game.

Now its over 350,000 plays every new game. It definitely grew :)

Hold on there, Mr. Johnny. Saying that religion is bullshit clearly implies that its premises are false, not that a few of its negligible consequences aren't positive. Now, even if you argue about the helpfulness of religion, I will without a second's hesitation oppose you, but that's not at all what I was talking about in the post you referred to. The "bullshit" comment was, of course, completely unsupported by its own. First of all, I think that anyone with a brain who lives in the 21st century without having information censored to him could realise that the story of some sandal-wearing magician getting resurrected after being nailed on a tree is ridiculous beyond belief. inb4 "it's not meant to be taken literally", or Inglor's version: don't really believe in god, but not really sure if there's a higher power or not.

Anyway, I feel like I'm insulting the intelligence of people reading this post by actually posting arguments why the premises of religion are ridiculous. Back the the original point: is religion helpful? Fuck no. Now you can't just dismiss my arguments on the premise that I just call stuff bullshit, because I'm gonna develop my points. You say it's a fact that religion helps some people (on a personal level). Sure, that's a perfectly reasonable argument. I agree. But do you think that making some dumbass feel better about what happens after his life is more important than the fact that us, humans, who now observe parts of the universe 46 500 000 000 light years away, and can manipulate objects of size 1/1 000 000 000 of a meter to create our technology, still believe in stone-age poetry. It makes us look like freaking cave men, what will the aliens think of us when they come down descending to the glorious Earth, only to discover some retarded catholics yelling bible verses in their faces?
Plot out a graph with the biggest scientific breakthroughs of history, and on top of it a graph of the most historically significant religious events, as well as periods when christianity was at its peak. See anything unusual? Yep, that's right. When one goes up, the other goes down, and vice versa? Coincidence? I think not, sir. I think not.

For some reason I can't write a freaking post without changing tabs every 30 seconds, so my post is probably retardedly structured. I'll find out soon enough

Actually I'm just gonna ignore your post, I can't be bothered with that argument. just to clear up some things:

Clearly you're not at the top of your class, or else your attitude would be much different.

Good observation. I'm one of the worst students my school has had in decades, but I'm easily more advanced by 2 or 3 years than the top students in my school (take in account the fact that it's a goddamn huge school which has some of the smartest students in the region) in math and physics. Now do what you want with that information. Classify me as a bad student and reject my opinions for all I care. Your rants are stupid and your attitude is irresponsible. You complain about finishing the workload too early and getting bored because of that, yet you apparently refuse to do anything useful and constructive with your time. If you're a smart guy, then hopefully you will realise that your complaints are pointless, and you will start getting your shit together. I hope that's the case. Actually, I don't really care, I just enjoy talking shit on NG. I'm just 2 years older than you. Shit, you're young.

That is all.

The hell is lockerz? , i got invited but i thought it was spam so i archived it

From what I can make out, you do things to earn PTZ (points), and when you get so many you can redeem them for prizes. It looks legit, and it's still in early stages - and everything is apparently alot cheaper in PTZ than it will be later on in the year.

Probably some money making scheme, but like i said - it looks legit.

Actually Toast... in a tone more suiting for you =p

There is a large percentage of stone-age, mystic-believing neanderthals an our planet still, and if believing in a hocus pocus giant invisible dude in the sky stops them from raping my girlfriend, or keeps them out of clinical depression brought on by dwelling on the fact they'll be nothing but decomposing compost after they die, just like their parents and loved ones, I'm all for it.

Religion ftw.

Then thank god Nietzsche warned us, right? :)

I'm not gonna start quoting Nietzsche here, because I'd probably be accused of misinterpreting. Heck, even today in the highest ranks of academia, his followers have very different interpretations of his work. Having said that, I do agree with the view that humanity is going to lose its sense of universal meaning soon, or at least whenever the concept of God completely disappears from our society. That being said, I completely disagree with your apparent view that - and if I misinterpret, please correct me - religion and its fixed morals keep people from doing bad things. A very outrageous claim in my opinion. Most atheists aren't as extremist in nihilism as I am (and just for the record, there's probably a much lower chance for me to rape your girlfriend than the average religious guy), most of them do have a set of morals and rules of society that they respect. I find it hard to believe that atheists are more susceptible to commit crimes or whatnot than religious people. Need I even mention extremist muslims?

If your opinion is that in order to keep people safe, you need to lie to them and convince them of a false model of the universe, then boy, our world is in a really sad state of affairs.

If believing in fairies is all that stops them committing horrible crimes they clearly have some serious underlying mental health issues and should be locked away for the protection of the general public.

Also, the depression thing is nonsense. If they can't actually deal with life (i.e. it will end), again they need medical help. Personally I'd rather know the harsh truth than live in false hope.

IM really getting tired of people who can't make a simple walk cycle think Their amaZing at flash. I just got through reading a page of this 12 year old's post about how he's better.

I'm not gonna mention names, but this dude I know (let's call him J) kept trying to help the OP out.

The OP kept showing the stupidest animations and J keeps trying to help him out. Then he gets his 12 year old army out to starting beating up on J. Sayin "OmGoMg, stop thinking ur all dat you itiot!"

I wanted to flame the OP and his stupid followers so bad. Than a mod comes and says "No more bickering or a banning will happen"

Since I respected that certain mod I laid off. I didn't care about getting banned, I just wanted to back up J.

But now it's over.

Now whenever I see a 12 year old saying " Look Gaiz! My animations awesome lolilolololol." I'm gonna flame like no tommorow.

Don't bother man, you won't get anything out of it and will just start a flame war. Offer him constructive criticism and see what happens! If he's a knob after that, then I got yo' back hombre.

I thought after the last 5 pages arguing about religions you'd realise that windowskiller, you've dissapointed me so.

LOCKERZ IS LEGIT! (And I hate you all)

I have a number of friends who have gone onto it and gotten things like a new iPod with 64 GB. Thing is, I hate you all. I recommended to Tom that we make a lockerz account for newgrounds, make a front page post, and get all of the people to join. You get 2 PTZ for each joiner, and 4 PTZ after the first 20. So Newgrounds could make a killing in prizes for contests, etc. If he takes the idea from all of you, I quit.

Now i shall copy paste the post i made in the olympics 2010 thread.

opening ceremonies. horrible.

first they had some guys who were bad at singing, then a poet, a french singer, and finally, they screw up the torch lighting, leaving two of the final runners with no way to light the torch.

SUCKS TO BE THEM AMIRITE?

to anyone who didn't watch, they were supposed to, all five of them, light the torch at once via flammable pillars (gasoline soaked my guess), which would rise up from the ground.

two of the pillars didn't lift up, causing two of the people to be left out while steve nash, wayne gretzky, and one other person lit the torch by themselves.

i dunno about you, but i would hate to have been one of the final runners, then be left standing there while three other people light the cauldron (internal one, there are two this time around).

and now wayne gretzky is on his way to light the external torch. man how i would laugh if something were to happen.
