Do you guys think its gonna be all that? I think CS4 was pretty bad. I don't have a top notch PC so it crashes on me a lot. I'm planning on getting CS3 if not CS5.

It sounds really lame, since I've been flashing (O_O) for maybe 2 years, but I just found out how to do fully-accurate collision detection with nodes. I'd heard of nodes before but hadn't realised the whole 'cycle through with standard loop' thing. I think that probably gives me all the tools I need to make most flash games now. :D

Canabalt might be old news, if awesome, but one-button games seem to be gaining in popularity recently on the flash scene. Has anyone seen any really unique design elements in these, ones that don't just consist of replacing standard controls with one button to make them harder?

Well, the last two years I guess I got a more demanding life... I really miss being here more often... I used to have all this time to write all sorts of helpful tutorials, then I got involved with Armor Games (which I did mainly at the time because were scammed on a regular basis by sites like mofunzone for 200$ per game sponsership and such), and eventually I got too involved with my real job, my life, and etc...

Flash used to be much more of a niche, now it's very commonplace... I remember NG when the motto was "The problems of the future, today!", people here had a very commune feeling... Maybe you still have that now but for me it kind of lost it...

I still drop by from time to time :)

The system works! I've been in ArmorGames since before it was ArmorGames, but due to time limitations I had to leave... It's really funny that you got to NG from AG. It's amazing that both sites have around the same reach of users today, AG used to be much much smaller...

As for me my first experiance with NG was assassin if I recall correctly, then again that's not even a section of the site anymore... :)
