Hoe lee shit... I am so burnt out right now. It's been a LONG time since I've had a marathon Game Creation sitting... just not cut out for it anymore.
Might not seem like too much, but I've averaged 8 hours a day from the time I get home from work until I sleep since the 18th and I'm fucking fried... but want to get this game done by tomorrow night since it's a Christmas themed game.
I know Tom extended the deadline until the 2nd week in January because it's a "Winter" contest.. but really.. is a Christmas game going to do good in January?
Need to get this done and I'm doing all of the art and programming myself. I was considering doing my own BG music, but I just don't have the time for it.
I still have a lot of work to do.

unfortunately this is as far as you can get, the hole is not actually a hole, its like another platform :/

ha i didn't create it pigpen did. i just did title and instruction screen art. but i consider myself pretty good at platforming games anyways :)

I just went to the local nerd store (the one where they sell games, DND books, warhammer miniatures, etc) and now I really want to make some DND-related game - like every time I return from that store. I was thinking about something in the style of Nox - top-view, you got a sword and a shield, and you run around a dungeon/necropolis or something killing stuff. I don't care much for acquiring new items or other things that could be attributed to Nox and RPG's in general, just a quick hack-n-slash game. Could be themed around one of the DND adventure books they have - i took a look at the Necropolis, dungeon, ice giants, and dragon adventures. I also have the Sunless Citadel adventure book at home.
so basically if you are, or know a person that likes DND and would want to do art & animations (i stress on the art part, it's not all about character walking animations), let me know.

You'll be getting a PM for me. I've had an idea for a DnD game for quite awhile now, with pretty simple art that I think is a fun idea.
(Been playing the game for 18 years... yes.. 18.. and ran campaigns for others the entire time)
I could handle the art for it. I know it's a weird turn for me, but it would be a nice one.
