I'm making a new game and I've decided to do it completely different from what I'm used to doing. Normally I would think off something and be all like 'wow that would look pretty cool', now I'm just going to work out the gameplay aspect as far as I can without the finalized graphics, before I start thinking of what it'll look like. That probably sounds like the most common-sensed way to make a game, but I've never really tried doing it like that, resulting in mediocre stuff.

Really? I always do it the other way around. I doodle a bit in flash, start thinking of a good background and story line for the doodles, then set an engine down and finalise the graphics.
Tbh, I should be working on this platformer I've been meaning to do for a while.

That happens to me a lot, and I'm using Windows, it's probably Safari though, as that didn't happen when I was using Opera...
Oh, and I think my tablet gave up and died on me, after a hard struggle against the claws of death, as it stopped working today. Usually, it stops working for a couple of minutes and then goes back to work, it has happened to me since the first day I bought it, but now... geeze, I dunno, it hasn't been working the whole day, and it's got me worried... I think it's what I get coming for buying used software for thirty bucks, but still...
I'm used to tablet not working, which is mainly why I never get to work on serious Photoshop stuff, though Flash is easier with a mouse, specially because of the smoothing of the line, but it is quite a lot more time consuming... dang, it seems like I'll have to waste my Christmas present on a new tablet, preferentially, one that works and is not used...

I'd agree with you, but when I go to any of the other Flash upload sites, I have zero problems. It's not that it's slow, it's just that the upload will stop at random times, forcing me to refresh the window and try again.
