So I've got this pickle, and I'll ask you wise sages about it. We just wrapped up this collab oozing with potty humour and dick jokes. It's 12.8Mb. The organizer has PM'd Tom and all, but if you read his latest news update, he won't be looking at anything until after Denver...and I don't blame him a goddamn bit for that. Any thoughts or wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Today was a great day to strike. Lot's of orange in the portal.

Yes. Don't worry about quotations. I manage to fuck that up regularly. There are a few exotic assets in it, like some flv playback stuff, but it's sparing, and I edited the hell out of it, as to not be wasteful. I mean, we're 2.8 Mb over the 10 Mb cap. That's not really egregious. If this goes sideways the only thing left to do, is what you propose, and downgrade the audio publish settings. I was really hoping to avoid that though. C'est la vie.

Well, the festival is over now, so you should be getting your reply soon.
But for future reference, Tom isn't the only one on this website with power :)

Just watched some videos and read some comments. Sounds quite bad.
There's always a delicate balance between protecting people of power and not causing harm to pedestrians, but it certainly sounds as though they went too far. Remember that some [if not most] officers are honestly trying to keep the peace and do their job (although may have gotten caught up in the action and made some bad instinct decisions), but I'm sure others joined the force just to cause suffering.
The problem is, how can you tell which is which before you put them in an actual situation?
So I just found out that Edmund McMillan and William Good along with Time Fcuk are gonna be at the Eurogamer Expo in London! I bought tickets about 2 months ago :3

In my experience, looking at cached bitmaps crosseyed causes them to redraw and recache.
By all means experiment to see what works, but in my experience just exporting bitmaps externally has saved a lot of hassle if not filesize.

How much is it? I usually see them for around $40
Man, anyone seen the footage from the Pittsburgh University protest? Really disgusting police brutality...we give them way too much damn power.
Yes we do. The worst part is how little we are hearing about it from 'accepted media outlets'. It's like the WTO protest in Seattle all over again. The silence is deafening. The news is as farcical as the notion of our individual civil liberties. Blecch!

Talking of cacheAsBitmap, I found out recently that if you set the z property of a display object to anything, including 0 (ie activate it's 2.5Dness), it'll be cached for rotation as well as the usual translation. Neat!
Tom-
Ding.
Part of this game - well a big part of this game was inspired by my ol' online persona Mullet King.
Have a good one guys. Ya'll rock!

ya family guy was hilarious at least, best one in a long while
Also, I enjoyed American Dad's soundtrack tonight.
I'm not sure why every tv series ever needs to make a joke about war flashbacks

Big statement from the young lad. Drinking is like religion out there. What were you drinking?

the whole idea of it was a bad idea from the start, I didn't even expect it either. I watched the trailer a while back and was like uh.... good luck with that.
Anyone care to give me the link to the NG calendar? I lost it along my other bookmarks.

I totally agree with what you tweeted - the opening was pretty funny, when the rest of the family guy cast was there.. and his son is annoying. His voice is just awful.. so is Clevelands, but it's in a funny way.
Anyway, I'll give it a chance.. there were some funny moments but it was pretty bad overrall, but it gives me something to watch :X
Family Guy was great, loved the alternate reality versions (specifically Disney + real life).
Sup, bitches :)

Thanks, and happy birthday!
I didn't watch any of these premieres. I'll have to go on Hulu or something. Bitchy clients leaking out of my anus. Who the fuck rings their designer up at 10:00 PM on a goddamn Sunday (and no world community...timezones were not a factor...this son of a bitch lives in Pasadena). Who? GRRRRR!!!!
Happy birthday, citric!

Awesome!
You've inspired me; I'm going to quit being a programmer and follow my dreams of being an artist!
To start, I've decided to do a picture like your citricsquid picture, but with you instead!
I hope you like it!
Why Cleveland? I can see Quagmire or Joe, but cleveland isn't even that good on FG. Does the Cleveland show do the random cut-aways. I'm reall getting sick of those, they would have like 2 per episode in the first few seasons but now it 2 every scene. This is why I like American Dad more now.
Someone once told me that seth green writes most of family guy these days, but imdb didn't say anything like that. it would make sense, family guy is basically the same as robot chicken with a slight attempt at a plot.

Robot chicken is funnier without a plot, the plot is just on the backburner now in FG, unlike the good oldies (Season 3).
PARTICEL ACCELERATAR
I was lucky enough to have a tour from someone i know around the accelerator in oxford. It's a fascinating place, everything about it feels like an place of science, from the enormous NASA style control room to the automated robots dipping themselves in liquid nitrogen as not to harm the delicate protein crystals.
If you ever get a change to look around, take it. Even if you're barely interested in particle physics places like that are amazing, even architecturally.
If you've got any questions, ask. I'll try and answer.
