well my summer goals are right here, and my summer plans are getting the kitchen reno done, going on a trip to kenora, ontario to visit my cousins, going to PAX, and possible going to England/France.

yeah.... we're going to Vegas on the way back from SD.

Go into system settings in your dock and select keyboard. Make sure use F keys as functions is ticked (or unticked can't remember which).
