Yeah if it had a Flash Player there'd be no need for the app store.
And thats it in it's entirity. The argument about Flash being resource heavy or there being too much bad flash out there or it being a lousy framework (which you'll see everywhere a Flash on an iPhone debate springs up) all boils eventually down to one thing: Apple refuse to cede control of thier products - for better or for worse, thier marketting model requires you to continue buying directly from them and the introduction of Flash with it's ten years of history on the net and hundreds of applications and build environments (that notably don't require Macs to compile on) would stop the app store's dominance.
It'll only be when the Apps store reaches stagnation point that Flash even remotely gets given the green light for non-jailbroken iPhones.

Yeah but there must be some way of making your game iphone compatible and on the store right? Like get the Iphone SDK and stuff? But i suppose that just costs more money and what not...
Not least of all buying an iBook. Because the SDK relies on methods from the operating system to compile, which means you need to run it on OSX.

Yeah i agree, and in protest i started www.kirksrightandeveryonewhodoesflashisa cunt.com. Join up now and receive an iPhone, which is flash players arch nemesis.
NOTE : Site requires flash player 10.
I will pay the domain fees for a year if you build flashsucks.com. I would extend the same offer for the kirksright one, but that goes over the character limit for domain names
