it means, when you upload a swf to a website, you dont have to store the stage height, width, background color, etc as well. just store the location of the swf, and the php class reads the rest.

I know peeps who do flash. My best friend does (or used to), we made just short funny stuff a while ago. He has a fewthings on NG which you can find under my submissions or me co authored on.

I've got a few more people into flash too, but they haven't kept at it. At college though there's people who can, and we'll be doing it later in the year so even more will.

Actually, my mate who does flash came down the other week. The whole time we just smoked weed from his bong in my room. It was great, the plan for tomorrow (at the time) was to get up, go down subway, be back by about 9, have a spliff on the way back, then make a flash about someones first time. Didn't happen, just sat in my room with his bong the whole time watching such great characters as Milky Joe, Charlie, and the exotic Vince Noir.

I'm trying to save the NG forum as a page and open it in Dreamweaver, but when I do save it, all that's coming up is '.Js' files. Is there a way to save it as a HTML or something openable in DW? All i'm looking to do is edit text like topic names, peoples names and other tomfoolery.

Pico is a scientific prefix thing. It means * 10 ^-12. For example a picometre is 1*10^-12 metres. I just assumed that the chaacter is pronounced in the same way.

Anyway, if your using FF. Just go to file, save page as, then try the HTML only option from the bottom of the window. That may work :). I'd try, but I'm busy.Sorry :(.

If so how many sites stole it and how many times have your games been stolen? Good or bad i dont mind i personally think its great if your game is hosted on another site, so long as you have a link on your flash.
I havnt had anything of mine stolen cause all my stuff sucks that ive acctually submitted. Apart from my halloween game, but that wasnt stolen.

I like it when my games get stolen. It's very flattering. I'm against the idea of someone making money from me without me giving permission, but the thought that someone thinks my work will benefit their site enough that they're prepared to commit a crime (as minor as it is) to get it makes me feel happy.

I had the Tutorial Collab and My Virtual PSP stolen by a couple of sites. It is quite flattering to know someone thinks your flash is actually worth stealing :P. But after a while I'm guessing it can be annoying.
