It's a program that allows you to listen to, not all the music in the world (as it actually says on their site..), but a lot. With an invite like you get to use the free version which means that you will have to listen to perhaps 1-2 minutes of ads an hour, but it really isn't that big of a deal :)

Also, unlike for example last.fm (the free version of that at least) you don't need to make a big playlist if you want to only play songs that you choose; you can play one song 24/7 if you like.

I knew that they had to make some songs not playable in certain countries due to some legal reasons, but I didn't know that they denied anyone the service completely :(

I just discovered you can load/save IN FLASH without a server. It was Depredations music game that sparked my interest, since he uses loading in that so I looked it up and it's really quite easy. I'm currently adding a few small features to the flash so you can load an image and mess with it a bit (dodge, burn, pixelate, mess with the colours, whatever I can be bothered to) or else it'll just be loading and saving the same bitmap which is no fun :)

I've noticed that sometimes too. Most often I think that it's because the guy who asked the question barely know anything at all so it takes a 100% copy&paste friendly snippet of code in order to end the thread.. :/

Anyway, here is the bitmap thing I'm playing with :] It's nothing atm, I just added REALLY BAD lighten/darken functions.. I'm gonna make it a bit cooler, because this is fun, but I gotta go over to my friends so I'm stopping working on it for tonight. Have a look and tell me if you see any bugs, because there shouldn't be any but there probably is.
