Oh.. my.. god!
This is fantastic! Seriously, this is amazing. Not only is the service great - music on demand can't be bad - but it's so fast and the song plays immediately as I click play. Plus it's free!
£9.99 per month is pretty reasonable too, for all this amazing music.. really cool. Thanks :D
Sup, bitches :)
Damnit, being in Canada has again shafted me when it comes to some online media viewer. Oh well, at least that's the first thing they let me know when I get to the site. Unfortunate, because it seems cool.

Any takers?
Still have one of those invites? I'm not as much of a reg as I was (gwhc) but I've been dieing to try out Spotify.

It's a program that allows you to listen to, not all the music in the world (as it actually says on their site..), but a lot. With an invite like you get to use the free version which means that you will have to listen to perhaps 1-2 minutes of ads an hour, but it really isn't that big of a deal :)
Also, unlike for example last.fm (the free version of that at least) you don't need to make a big playlist if you want to only play songs that you choose; you can play one song 24/7 if you like.

I knew that they had to make some songs not playable in certain countries due to some legal reasons, but I didn't know that they denied anyone the service completely :(

Nope, you will be the one getting it :) Check your PM's in a min.
If anyone else's eager to try out Spotify you can sign up for an invite through their site, it probably takes some time before you get it though :/

I was just on your account a few days ago, and it's great that you've came back; even if it's probably only temporary. Welcome back!

I want a hat now.
I've got such a flash boner right now.
I just discovered you can load/save IN FLASH without a server. It was Depredations music game that sparked my interest, since he uses loading in that so I looked it up and it's really quite easy. I'm currently adding a few small features to the flash so you can load an image and mess with it a bit (dodge, burn, pixelate, mess with the colours, whatever I can be bothered to) or else it'll just be loading and saving the same bitmap which is no fun :)
Sup, bitches :)
silly BBS
Don't you just love (hate) the way that threads in which someone asks an extremely basic question, always end up being the ones that go on for pages and pages?

What else would you expect from a board where everyone only knows basic actionscript?

I've noticed that sometimes too. Most often I think that it's because the guy who asked the question barely know anything at all so it takes a 100% copy&paste friendly snippet of code in order to end the thread.. :/

Everyone makes up for failing at the complex threads, by inundating the basic threads with what they feel to be superior intellect.

While that's (partly) true, you don't need to post /superior intellect to highlight it. We can all see it ;)
Also it should be </superior intellect> fool.
</superior intellect>
Stop that at once. Yes, you. You should be ashamed of yourself. Now, go and ask forgiveness from your parents.
