So... I finished 2 games, and I have no idea what to do... There's no collabs out, I have no game ideas, I don't have any movie ideas, this sucks. Does this happen often to most people?

What is this? Looks pretty basic. And just random. Experimental?... In joke?...
Interviews
We need moar of 'em. Not just artist interviews, programmer interviews too, fuck maybe even voice actors holy crow-bats - why not? I wouldn't mind gettin' a glance inside the head of this and that person.

Your Thoughts On 2012
It is said that once the Flash Reg Lounge reaches page 2012, that it becomes locked and deleted. As stated by Nostradamus of course. Anyway i don't believe it. It's nothing but a load of bullshit.

I haven't giggled that hard in so long, absolutely hillarious. It was just an animation of a yahoo answers question.

The crazy thing about it is that apparently both of the people who posted those posts were for real. Actually it would be even more amazing if they were just joking, because it takes a truly genius mind to come up with those sentences. "They need to do way instain mother", etc.. lmao, it's unbelievable how little sense that post makes.

I hadn't seen that, and I skipped it because I was thinking "crazy toast," but I decided to go back and watch just for the hell of it, and lmfao. That is awesome, and I completely believe those are for real, you're right it would take a mad genius to come up with that response. So good linking... lolz?
The AP is soooooo slow... fouren or fifen please?
war thingy
Well i don't leave near by..but it it's kinda dangerous to hitchhike from the nearest city to the town i live in. Also a lot of guys from my gym got called to the army and fathers of friends..(my dad is over the age they recruit in war time, forgot how it's called..) So basically how i see the situation hamas started shooting missiles at us and a bunch of our city's so we started fighting back..
By the way i have family in a place where grad missiles fall. not a lot of them but still
and if people here think something about how Israel should leave alone or something imagine what if someone bombed new york or Utah or London or Manchester...

I'd celebrate, not really but still :P damn mancs ;)
At 1/4/09 05:09 PM, Xeptic wrote: No bugs found so far, I take it is intentional that the computer controlled character is stuck halfway in the background when he is helping you up?
Yeah, completely intentional. The MC itself doesn't move but that frame simply shows him half way through the ground, as that's essentially how the MC will be when you bend down to help them out.
And that he won't try to get on that last elevated platform?
Yeah. He calculates whether or not he can jump up, although I haven't played around with it that much seeing if there are any heights he will try when he can't actually get up. But I am thinking of adding a small element of random in so if its not clear whether he can get up or not he might try it out.
I'll keep on messing around with it for a couple of minutes, in case something will still shows up, looking really fun so far though. You could do a lot of great stuff with this engine :)
Thanks. I do have quite a few ideas of what to add to it but not totally sure what direction its heading at the moment.
At 1/4/09 05:12 PM, knugen wrote: Looks good so far :) I don't think I've seen any other games quite like it except the one that you linked to.
Couldn't find any bugs btw.. You had even made it so that if the player starts helping the AI player up but quits too early it won't get up ;)
I'm almost certain I've seen at least one like it, although it was probably based on that one. (Just for the record I didn't originally intend to make a game like that. I was just playing around with computer controlled character and it sprung to mind that it'd be pretty fun to try the whole boosting etc thing)
There was a really weird bug that I couldn't work out where sometimes the computer controlled player would decide he didn't want to help you if you boost him up and just keeps on walking. But it seems to have gone now that I've played around with the code about seeing as no one has found it.

hey guys - sorry
I know I don't belong here, I'm an audio artist
and this is a little off-topic
But would anyone be interested in making a flash for the Piano Collab?
it's going pretty well - but it seems perfect for some kind of CTSG (or whatever) flash.
let me know please if anyone sounds up to it
(btw I've never really posted here, and i know there are lots more flash peeps than audio - but be kind please xD)

I found the fact that she even reads/watches/listens to the news even more hilarious. I think the original question asker had to have been kidding, no sub 8 year old really uses yahoo answers.
The sketchbook tour is neato but I preferred swain's voice over to last years, it was nice to have some humor.
