Vista IS a great OS for the average computer user, and I do use it 60% of the time despite having Ubuntu installed. On to Ubuntu, it's 2x better than Vista.
CBA explaining, it's true, kthxbie =[

I have some VMs but I'm used to ninja stuff on Windows. What do you find better in Ubuntu? Better programming software maybe. D:
I'm gonna get one of those 4GB computers but then I dunno if I run Ubuntu or Vista in VirtualBox within the other.

Well i like it, easy with a tablet ^_^
the problem i have when making games with artists is that i can never fully agree with the artist's ideas about a game. I could be a dictator and tell him that it's my idea and he's not changing it, but then he won't be as inspired as he would be otherwise, and the game will probably fail. The same applies for me; even if all I do is write code, which some people don't think is an art at all, I do have my aspirations for the game. Most of the time when I'm motivated to work on a game, it's because i've "seen" the game in action in my head, whether it's in a dream, hallucination after drugs, or just that i had the idea while sitting on my fat ass eating chips.
When I "see" my games in my head, it always looks so perfect, with amazing graphics, and full packed action. Heck, sometimes I have ideas for games and only then when i open flash I realise that the idea i had requires 3D and I can't code 3D shooters.

You know you're a coder when you not only dream about games, you trip about them... =) (seriously if you have the state of mind to control your thoughts on acid or the visuals on shrooms you should be a subject of scientific study).
I'm not a big fan of the lives and save either, and just in the future if you implement a system like the maximum number of bounces make sure I know about, most people don't really read the tutorial since internet games only have so much variety in control schemes.
Lol toast im noticing how annoying your sig is. check out my check out userpage. and the link is wrong anyway xD

I think Blorb 2.0 was better then Blorb 1.0. I liked playing with the grid, I must admit that was awesome. Was it made completely in AS?

Ya but once i'm done with my current game i'm porting blorb to c++ so i can run 6000 particles instead of 400 at a reasonable framerate

Nice, so in other words the grid will be massive pretty much? Also is c++ easy to get when you have a decent knowledge of AS? And if so, which form of AS is it most like? Cause I wanted to look into that because I have a base knowledge of AS down along with HTML because knowing alot of languages will help me if I ever do become a game designer. You know, when I'm better at animation.

It can access my Vista partitioned HD, it is more fun to use, it's prettier :P Yeah the programming environment is awesome :)

There were too many people with rugs on stickam, and not enough nudity.

21 days until Christmas.
I might get a tree tonight, even though I live by myself. One of the things that I actually liked about Christmas was that pine fresh smell. I think that has to happen this year.
Hi there!

Is that the link it pumped out when you uploaded? :S
RE: 21 days until Christmas.
Fake tree with a fake pine scent spray for me!
But that's only cause I live with my parents still and we used to cut a real one every year for the first 13 or so years of my life till it became too routine. I'll go back to real ones for a while when I have a family of my own - assuming there's still tree's around that time.

I think rather than buying anything drawing someone an xmas/hannukkkah or whatever card would be economical and fun.. like even if youre a coder im sure you have a few crayons and can scribble on a small piece of posterboard fold it ... stuff it in an envelope and mail it to your flash crush. Like me for instance, id probably send to glaielelelel

I'd probably send mine to Luisisisisisis.
Although my parents might think its kinda weird that I'm sending some random dude a card...

Actually this sounds like an awesome idea. But who says we need to ship it?
Someone on the reg lounge (like Luis) could get everyone from the reg lounge, pair them up randomly, and then PM who has got who. Everyone does a picture in photoshop/flash/whatever, then on Christmas Eve, we all send each other the Christmas/Hanukkah/Scientology holiday cards! It'll be awesome!
Except then, I guess who ever is organizing it won't get a surprise, but still.
Also, Mexifry. Your picture was still on Stickam when I was last on :P

I think Luis was talking about real mail, like...Outside of the internet (scary, isn't it?)
Anyway, if we did it through E-Mail I'd be easier.
