Flash in Class

My school is retarded. We have flash, it's paid for and installed on the server, but students cant access it because it could be used "maliciously". Now anyone who knows anything about flash knows that the most malicious thing you can do with flash is crash the computer once, or delete files if the person agrees to it. Goddam school >:(.

Turns out my Open Uni examination for the course i was doing during my first year of sixthform was actually on the 7th of october, not the 17th (tomorrow) which i had thought, so i've missed it!

Sent a query to see if anything can still be done, but otherwise; shit.

My uni has great labs, the PCs have 8 cores each (ridiculous I know, but I'm serious >_<), 8gb ram, latest graphics cards, amazingly hot monitors, etc.. and we're free to use them pretty much any time unless there is a class in the room, but theres about 10 rooms like that (half kubuntu half windows). Plus they have a few games installed (namely Unreal 2003 and UT3) which we're free to play.

Amazingly awesome news (for me) though; one of the rooms in one of the IT buildings is to be made into a gaming lounge. This is with uni backing and funding, they're gonna have a few widescreen HDTvs, every console, and (initially) £2000 worth of games. Plus they're gonna have sofas. How awesome is that?

Well I get to program a PIC 18FZ 482 processor in assembly. That beast has a whole 16k of program memory and 32k of register memory, and runs at a whopping 4 MHz or so.

kl sounds good what was it for btw, some one off work can get you a hell of a lot of money, working for the ice rink in town can get you about 7£ an hour i think but it would be cold and its not for long, only a month i think and places fill up fast. but also theres some open days at college and if you help out they will give you £15 but its on a day off. what are you going to spend the money on? anything special :)
