Alright i dont know what to do. The game is done, i wanna submit it, but my coder just wont fucking talk to me. Do i submit my version that i have? there's no boss or anything. im fucking flipping out.

He's had a huge time time to work on it, i dont think hell steal because we're good friends. In my opinion its such a great game and i was so excited to see it done.

On a serious note... yeah idk what to do man, in all honesty he might be just gone for a while, a while ago i talked to a guy and he disappeared for like 3 months cuz he owed me voices.... and then he came back randomly... and said he was on vacation unexpectadly.

Then he disappeared again. haven't talked to him since.... ok that was a bad example..

They look complicated ;( I was in my Unis library yesterday looking at a few of the game programming books and most of them were ridiculous, I can't even explain it, they were too in depth.. anyway, Meat Boy was an amazing game.

Oh my god he's actually working on things again...
I'm bored at work. Since I love working in the IDE with an external coding editor, rather than just with a compiler and a code editor, I'm not on AS3 here. So I'm working out a prototype in Flash 8 and porting it over when I get chance (assumedly, thanks to Moonkey's help and Gust's patronising, the Display List works the same way as Ive always been using it, so porting won't be a major issue).

Anyone remember that perspective tile engine I was working on in 06 before I moved and abandoned it?

Exams
On the 18th of october I'm taking my pre-SAT exam. It costs 15 euros and I'm gonna have to wake up at 6:30 on saturday aka 9 hours earlier than my usual saturday wake up time (and therefore also go to sleep a lot earlier on friday), which is UBER CRAP! but I think it's worth it. It might be my first decent chance to show my "skills". The only two exams I took in my life were the exam to enter an international school, which was still a pretty decent considering it was my first year in france. 2nd one was last year, maths & logic contest, i got to the final round but i ended up 2nd so i didn't get to compete on an international level. that was on saturday morning too, though, and i arrived there really tired. sigh, why can't they pick another time for exams

My basic firefighting skills test is coming up next weekend, and I'm pretty damn nervous.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm a volunteer firefighter cadet.
Anyway, I haven't really studied, and I don't really know how hard it's going to be...
This is the test that bumps me up from cadet, to volunteer firefighter. And it goes for a weekend and a half!

Congrats on releasing Meatboy, it was one of the funner games i've played this year. Frusterating, but fun... if thats possible.

Regardless, its a good testament to the idea of a game not needing fancy graphics or intricate gameplay. Just a focused simple idea, executed well.
I still dont know how Edmund comes up with these bizarre characters... i mean cmon Band-aid girl.
