I think english is a bit more widely spoken than that :P. Due to the british empire and all :D.
I found this online...
"Estimates of how many people speak a language can never be completely precise and therefore vary considerably. However, English English com, together with World English, have come up with the following figures: Mandarin Chinese (837,000,000), English (370,000,000), Spanish (300,000,000), Bengali (189,000,000), Hindi/Urdu (182,000,000), Arabic (174,950,000), Portuguese (170,000,000), Russian (170,000,000), Japanese (125,000,000), German (98,000,000), Javanese (79,000,000), French (75,000,000)"
They make sense. I found another source, slightly different figures but same top 3.
Coolio-Natio makes a top 5 list, twice >.> I just found it funny to see him in a random top thingy list :P

Sup, bitches :)
I think i heard there's now a children's TV show
teaching kids here in America
Mandarin Chinese.
By children's TV show, i don't mean 11 year old girl show,
i mean a toddler show; for kids who can't even speak english yet.
Shouldn't we be focusing on english as
a first language in America?
It's similar to my hate of Dora the Explorer for
teaching kids in America spanish, but
even worse. Who here speaks Mandarin Chinese?
what

Speaking of top list, here's probably one of the most complete lists I have seen of good online Flash games... Coolio-Natio-Natio-Natio is on this list too:
Hi there!
Is it wrong that coolios games turn me on? :P Naah they are very fun though.
Toast: I pmed you about the maths thing.
Mike: What were you banned for?

For linking to the flash forum. Someone asked a flash question on Wi/Ht and (after it had been resolved) I said that they should post any other flash questions on the flash forum. Malachy put it down as backseat modding, four day ban. The most patronising sounding ban I think will ever be sent, I've forgotten the details, but he did made it sound patronising.

That's what I got banned for last time >_> Backseat modding I mean.. seriously what the hell, that used to mean posting "OMG UR GONNA GET BANNT MOD BAN HIM" or something along those lines, not trying to helpful or whatever :p
Sup, bitches :)
Yeah, I was alright with it but the way it was written out [the ban message] and that it was four days. I mean, a four day ban for helping.
I dislike the WI/HT forum. Its all about stats to them. `Level up lounge`, `Top 50 protectors`, `Top 50 blammers`, `Top 100...`. Get over yourselves, kthx.
Mike, mine was 4 days too >.> Ridiculous aye. oh well, enough moaning about banz ^_^

I couldn't get started :(
Also, does anyone know if you can get actual animations sponsered too, rather than games.
I posted this on my userpage but came up with nothing.

You can but it happens quite rarely compared to games.

Yeah, it's got to be something pretty special to get sponsored. Your best bet is NGAds if you can't find anything else. Animations have the unfortunate aspect that once you've seen them, you've seen them.
Its true sadly :(
and WHO's the bastard that let the reg lounge go to page 2. That's not prohibited around here *angry frowny face*
learning assembly in school.
It's the next suckiest way to code besides punching in 0s and 1s on index cards.

ASM (assembly) hello world for a linux PC (not sure what processor specifically). Harder than:
#include <iostream>
int main() {
std::cout<<"Hello World!";
return 0;
Eh? ;)

I'm not sure why but it REALLY bothers me when it appears someone is doing something just for money.

like we don't really know how to code with it yet, we were just introduced to how it works.
But like, the only commands you have are stuff like setting memory locations, fetching memory locations, placing values in CPU registers, and various other stuff that the computer does directly without any manipulations from the assembler.

Oh kay, gotcha ^_^. I'm not much of a programmer, actually i know shit all about programming in general, like i code my flash movies (but cmon they're just movies, not games or anything) using the behaviors tool :P. i tried learning AS2 once but i just don't have the patience for it :P
thanks for clearing that up.
