University and IB
Brief glossary:
IB program is a worldwide program for school that makes you do rediculous amounts of extra work with hardly anything to show for it.
K so I need some people's oppinions here, I have the option of dropping out of the dumbest classes EVER, i'm in partial IB for English and History, and they're making me take double the amount of courses that I want to in the first place. I have no spares at all.
So i'm thinking, I can do the first set of these IB classes, get those over with first semester, and drop the 2nd half. I don't get the IB grade and i have more than enough credits for next year.
I also think that there's no way in hell i'll be able to get a scholarship to the Emily Carr university of Graphic Design, it seems too hard, and i'll have to put shit loads of effort in, however I honestly don't even think i would need a scholarship anyways, i have a stock pile of money reserved, (40k) and I would much prefer to not write shitloads of essays for no reason and still turn out the same as if i had.
So... sorry about the rant, i know i'm being a tad bias with against it, but does anyone have any advice for me or could someone help me pick whether to drop the course or not.
--I guess the plus sides of staying in would be it looks better on my resume, better chance of getting into the ECU (which im not really worried about though..) and stuff like that...
