stop bitching. if you want to consider yourself as a reg, then you're a reg. we don't care about your post count or posting frequency, we just care if you provide good quality posts and opinions to the lounge...
oh wait, we don't. we just care about your post count.
I'm assuming your last sentence was sarcasm :/
Sorry. I've just had some bad experiences with forums.
Most of the other forums I've been on, judge your experience and n00bishness purely on post count, and only post count. Makes it really hard to get your opinion heard :(
I'm really glad that this forum isn't like that.
Cheer guys :D
Making a Website
As for making a website, I suggest doing whatever you can to make some money (about $50) then get a cheap host + domain. If it's a personal portfolio where it's just your work and maybe a blog, you'll get only maybe a few hundred views a week, so you could set that up for a low price; the internet is quite cheap for us lowlings :D The whole making the web site thing, I suggest you learn php, html and javascript; it's fun and really quite easy. It's also helpful as a flash developer to know those languages.
Yeah, I have learnt some HTML, but I just have no idea where to even get started.
I need to know where the domain hostee website is, if I pay per month/year etc., how to make new pages, how to embed flash... oh man.
Anyway, thanks for the help liaaaam :)
When I posted about this a couple of weeks ago I got no replies. So I'll say it again: if anyone wants to make a website and is confident that it will be able to generate a decent amount of views through any type of means, then get in touch with me. I'm fluent with html, php, mysql and css and I would like to have a website. Web hosting doesn't need to cost more than 4 euros per month.
Oh, I would fucking love that.
I'll PM you about it later. I just need moneyz as I have no job ATM, recently got fired for no reason.
If I make a background, header, footer, buttons etc., would you be able to make it look... you know, good?
Thanks so much Toast.
New Computers
The only time I talk about anything that's computer / flash / gaming related it's on NG or other places on the internet, it's like im a different person irl.
Maybe if I look really hard I'll find a small group of nerds, although french nerds are a very special group of nerds (which i don't consider myself to be a part of). maybe i should just move to england or america.
Whoa, totally different to my school.
I'm kinda in the nerd crowd in my school, while also being friends with other groups.
There are about 15 or so other nerds in year 11, who I regularly chat to about whatever to do with computers and gaming.
COD4, CSS, TF2, SSBB, computer hardware etc.
Anyway, I'll post my new computer specs up Tuesday night.
I'm getting it monday night instead now, because he had loads of homework :(
Apparently, it only has 1gb of RAM though... bad?
And I just got Portal off a friend :)
Here's my current computer specs, for you to laugh at;
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1700+
1.46GHz, 256 MB of RAM
20 GB HDD
Tommattox
Your website link doesn't work.

Energy Drinks
Anyone else completely addicted to energy drinks.
Yep. I love V, Red Bull & Red Eye, but you guys might not of heard of some of them, because they may be Australian... not sure.
Anyway, it says you should have 2 cans max. daily.
One night me and my friend had nine each while playing Mario Kart Wii.
Our hands were shaking so much, we couldn't play properly.
Not as good as alcohol, but still fun and not illegal.

High School
I was excited to go to high school, but it sucks big baunchy balls. Did you guys like high school?
In my second to last year of high school atm.
I fucking hate it. I suck at maths, and because of SACE, I have to quit maths to make room for design.
Most of my reports this term were graded on ONE test, and its usually the test I didn't study for >:(
Year 10 rules though. So easy.

Your Top Favorite Flash Game
In trying to think of a game idea I might like to do, I decided to look at some of my favorite flash games, and since I'm an idiot and don't put my favorite games on my favorite games list here on ng, I really only have one that I really like.
Fancy Pants adventure 2.
First one was horrible, but I loved the second one.
It's so quirky and crazy and original and FUCKING AWESOME! Its just its own game if you know what I mean.
Art Major
Yep. I'm starting my Major Artwork this week, and its due near the end of next term. My MAJOR artwork.
Of course, everyone's still in the research stage still, but I just don't even know what I'm going to do.
I've done some concpets which look pretty cool, but I want something that totally shows off my style.
I was thinking of doing some kinda street art/ grafitti/ surrealism kinda thing.
Does anyone know of the Australian clothing brand Mambo? They used to do some REALLY cool designs, I'd love to do something like that.
Any help appreciated!
