lol. This was supposed to be my birthday present for myself yesterday, but thanks to canceling a deal with a sponsor I had to release it today... Anyway, it's my first solo project and game ever and the first big project I've finished in years. I know it isn't much compared to what the average 14 year old NG developers make :), but I'm still happy I finished it. My days of procrastination are over!

It was a stolen flash. Me and a few users over at the abusive review thread had to PM Wade about it. There was a lot of reviews on it frontpage questioning and saying it's stolen, both against the review rules.

Sorry all for replying so fast but I don't think they are. If you look at the old cartoons then they are subtly different. Does look very similar though.

Making a Website

As for making a website, I suggest doing whatever you can to make some money (about $50) then get a cheap host + domain. If it's a personal portfolio where it's just your work and maybe a blog, you'll get only maybe a few hundred views a week, so you could set that up for a low price; the internet is quite cheap for us lowlings :D The whole making the web site thing, I suggest you learn php, html and javascript; it's fun and really quite easy. It's also helpful as a flash developer to know those languages.

Yeah, I have learnt some HTML, but I just have no idea where to even get started.
I need to know where the domain hostee website is, if I pay per month/year etc., how to make new pages, how to embed flash... oh man.

New Computers

The only time I talk about anything that's computer / flash / gaming related it's on NG or other places on the internet, it's like im a different person irl.
Maybe if I look really hard I'll find a small group of nerds, although french nerds are a very special group of nerds (which i don't consider myself to be a part of). maybe i should just move to england or america.

Whoa, totally different to my school.
I'm kinda in the nerd crowd in my school, while also being friends with other groups.
There are about 15 or so other nerds in year 11, who I regularly chat to about whatever to do with computers and gaming.
COD4, CSS, TF2, SSBB, computer hardware etc.

Anyway, I'll post my new computer specs up Tuesday night.
I'm getting it monday night instead now, because he had loads of homework :(

Yep. I'm starting my Major Artwork this week, and its due near the end of next term. My MAJOR artwork.
Of course, everyone's still in the research stage still, but I just don't even know what I'm going to do.
I've done some concpets which look pretty cool, but I want something that totally shows off my style.
I was thinking of doing some kinda street art/ grafitti/ surrealism kinda thing.
Does anyone know of the Australian clothing brand Mambo? They used to do some REALLY cool designs, I'd love to do something like that.

Red Bull is the worldwide market leader, so I know about it, I don't buy it much, but that's because you can get higher quality drinks like rush for half the price. V is great, maybe a bit too fruity for me, I prefer the usual flavors than the extra sweet ones. I've never heard of red eye.

I used to drink a lot of red rooster. They had a redesign on the logo recently. I preferred the old logo, the new one looks like it's trying (and failing) to look futuristic.

I used to drink a drink from a brand called euroshopper, it didn't taste as good as much drinks but it costed only 35P.

I drink rockstar energy a lot. It's fruity but the size of the can is good.

I drink relentless. I've been drinking this for a while, now they're one of the biggest brands in it. They've made quite a few variations, like inferno, an orangeade flavoured energy drink and Juiced, half juice, I've never tasted this before.

I've drunk a lot more, these are just a few I've remembered. My local shops get new brands in regularly and to do so they need to stop selling other brands. I need to go to the other side of my town to get rush now but it's worth it.

Omg.. I'm on my old laptop atm, it's so fucking slow it's unbelievable.

256mb of RAM, built in SiS (read: shit, is shit) graphics card, 60gb hdd.. xp though D: It took over 2 minutes for Firefox to load up, whereas on my new laptop it takes about 2 seconds for Chrome to open lol.

1GB isn't a lot. Your processor is up to some extent dependant on your RAM, so if you only have 1GB it probably means your processor isn't extremely powerful. If your processor IS good, however, then I suggest getting 2GB RAM.

That's the tradeoff with Nitrome. They have sickeningly good artists, but are still getting the hang of programming. The AI algorithms in their Worms game can come to a 1-2 fps crawl even on a good computer. Overall, though, an incredible game designer.

Yea it turns out it was actually an ad on miniclips or something, because I loaded it on their site and it played great, and I loaded it on miniclips again and it played great again. In there latest game the load times for the levels are ridiculous, 10-20 seconds, which is a really long time, most games and movies don't load that long for me, let alone levels.
