Meh, screw you guys, I'm gonna make a sequel to "A falling brick" and it'll be brilliant. Longer than the original, so maybe 3-4 seconds, idk.
Sup, bitches :)

I have found the very same thing at Uni. its just amazing how much fun it is to be around people who share the same goals and likes. The best part of it all is they're compitant in what ever they are majoring in. (I come from a country town out in the sticks of Australia, where computers are seen mostly as 'That thing which does limewire' or 'on of them magic boxes thats like the tv') So its nice to find people who view programming as an enjoyable task.

you know, I was reading some of my post's, and I realized that my spelling became worse whe I began posting in the general forums..
hah i can relate to that. you always kinda blend in with the environment no matter where you go or what you do. i realised that after playing wow for 2 years i sometimes wrote like a (seriously) mentally handicapped person without really realising it. because i had some really good e-friends on my server that always talked funny. actually, many people on the general forums, from the very little ive seen of it, have good grammar and spelling.
First Post - It seems I tried to sign up for the 600frames colab, but its rather shocking how noob I was reading some of my first posts.
yea, iv been playing wow for about 3..4ish, its beats you spelling skills to a pulp, but it seems a bit more normalized now..

Yeah this topic comes every once and a while. My first post was discussion video games and what sad parts of video games almost made you cry :P.
Paypal Taking Money
Does paypal take a percentage of the money you receive from other paypal accounts? Reading their page on fees I don't think they do, but then I've sent money to someone and they told me some of it was taken. Does anyone have a definitive answer for me? I'm just wondering if I get a large payment of sponsorship money, do I really want to do it through paypal, even though it would be the easiest way.
Zed's Dead
JAZZA LEAVING!
Oh this is rather sad :( He really inspired many's a person. Myself included.... EVERYONE GO TO HIS BLOG AND TELL HIM GOODBYE AND WE'LL MISS HIM!

Hah I didn't make a post like that. I looked in the tutorial section and saw "download free trial of flasH" and I was just like *GASP* cuz I didn't know there was a free trial.
After that I produced some shit which I thought was good but really got scores of like 0.25 or so.

You mock my pain?! I hate myself for it though, cause now I get angry at kids with those posts.
May god smite your house.

Lotions. Lot's of them.
Also, dual monitor set-up. Useful? No. Cool? For half an hour, yeah.

That sort of thing can be funny, where its just a friendly joke type of thing, but other e-fights really piss me off, where people just shout at other people for not knowing something. To be honest, newgrounds has way too much brown-nosing. The flash forum should be about helping people learn things as well as having fun, but it seems like its more about how much respect people have.
Too many people on newgrounds are just here to find a thread where they can say something witty or where they can "pwn some noobs" so they get more respect from people.
Whats worse is people who shout at 'noobs' and then when they find out that it doesn't get them respect, they come crying here asking people not to hate them. At least defend what you're doing. Think for yourself and say what you think you should say, not what you think others want you to say.

I have to say, I have absolutely NO respect to people who blam, and hate, and criticize without saying WHY.
If you don't like something that someone has done, tell them WHY you don't like it.
They will learn from it, and will take it in.
However, if you just hate and don't expand on it, then they might take it too personally, and give up.
Seriously, especially if you have a lot of leeway, don't just hate, and not deliberate, it can ruin someones day/ career/dream.
Think before yo say, foo'
Also, I'M GETTING MY NEW COMPUTER SOON!!!!! W00T!!!!
I'll post the specs up later, k? Getting it Friday afternoon, Australian time.
Can't wait.

Man, I've heard this way too many times. Your rant is in the worst place it can be if you want to appeal to those who blam with no purpose.

No, not really a rant as such, I could go on for ages about that topic. And I realize this is falling on deaf ears here, as people in the Flash Reg forum wouldn't just blam and be dickheads without saying so, as far as I know.
Just putting a little wall of text out there, for anyone who happens to stumble upon it.
Thats all.

Nooby questions etc
I never understood why people blatantly flame people asking such simple questions, Why don't guys just answer it if it's that simple and make yourself and the person much happier and better off.
This is probably very late but I just can't keep up with this god dam regs lounge :P
I'm not proud of my first post, but it wasn't as bad as a lot of users first posts.
My second post is semi respectable
And most of my early posts were alright but just only one or two lines, now I try to pad them out and get at least four lines in.

Stop lying.
Noob Topic
I think we've reached a verdict, flaming newbies is bad, try to help and don't be a dickhead. I think we should move on now :D.
Creative Gaming
If anyone has been following the game LittleBigPlanet, they'll notice that it's a game about creation. One of the first mainstream products to really try and use creativity and user content at its core. I've been playing games like gmod and such for years now, but i really think it's a big step for the industry to be able to share your creations on a commercial scale. The only other game that comes to mind is spore, although that had limitations.
Anyway, what do people think on the subject, is gaming moving toward a more creative and friendly aspect?
Also, new octo-sig.

Please don't spam in the reg lounge, it wastes space and will normally end up in you getting flamed or banned.
