Some of the samples of games look great, I might show the engine of one of my new games, a collaboration with argentin, I'm coding and he's animating. He's got the file but all I've got is the script and a version of just a circle with arms, it looks great in the full version.

ButtonFinder3 should be ready soon, I've got 2 levels to go but I checked through and it's unbelievably buggy. I need to code out the password system, I've just got the bare engine for the password now, I'll finish it and try to iron out all the bugs. I won't show that since there's so much bugs and I don't want to show it. Fuberella (NG-Unit) might have seen the first 20 levels on the original FlashBase.

Maybe it just hasn't updated, If it shows no earnings by tomorrow or even two days, maybe you should try to contact mochi, but I wouldn't be concerned if it isn't showing anything right now...

And anyway for you to have 1 cent the cpm would have to be 10 cents, and it clearly says ecpm .01. So my advice is to chill on it.

It's generally pretty easy to get served round Newcastle, although some places are stricter than others, I was drinking in one of the bars in the Gate for a friend of friends 18th, never got ID'ed. Wow, it's amazing how stupid some people are, though there's a chance they only served you because they can serve, since they can say your license does state that you are over the legal drinking age.

Really good, but is is a quite a bit like that jmtb02 game. Don't sweat it though, the gameplay diferent enough to set it apart, and it is quite addictive. And frustrating, LOL.
Might wanna revamp the overall design though. I think its just a bit too simple. Maybe some less bland colours. But it is your game, and I don't want to tell you how to make it.

Projects
How are my projects going?
Absolutely crap.
I just... I dunno. i've kinda hit a brick wall.
Its not artist block or anything, I'm just really unmotivated I guess. Don't really feel like animating, and I feel like starting something else, even though my current project is pretty close to finished.

I started it AGES ago, when I wasn't too good at animating. It was originally just little stick fight, but then I added an intro, started making it better and also adding lots of stuff in. I've pretty much finished the easter eggs, done the menu's, I just need to work out how to do trophies and finish the movie.

I unfortunately had to take out all the sound for the online version, except the music for the actual movie. Which is a bummer, because "Deads witnesses" & "The heavens shall tremble" are awesome songs.
Oh, and a fucking background tween at the start doesn't work properly, and I have no fucking idea why. If someone can help me with this, it would be MUCH appreciated. I'll include you in the credits or something.

Apart from that though, I have a MAJOR project on the way.
I've already done some of the character and enemy designs, story, and planning.
Its a adventure/platformer game like nothing you've seen before. I guess it's inspired by Subspace Emmisary from SSBB.
Only thing is, I only know VERY basic AS. If any of you know any platformer tutorials (apart from the ultimate platformer tutorial), it would be much appreciated.
I've looked absolutely everywhere, and the two best I found were the Ultimate platform tutorial on Newgrounds, and one on CartoonSmart. But I need to know stuff about killing enemies and weapons and stuff.
OR, if you are an AS guy, help with this would be fucking awesome. Except... I don't have an income or any money, so that probably won't happen.

And ToxicEmpire, that looks great, but just disable the tab cheat, it makes it too easy to find all the easter eggs, set the tabChildren, focusRect or tabEnabled booleans to false. They all do pretty much the same, oh and you only need one of them.

The legal drinking age in Holland (and many other European countries) is actually 16, so you're not really that lax.

Nah, not really. America's legal drinking age is 21, so they naturally start drinking later, or at least be more discreet about it when they're 15/16, but I would say the drinking laws are inforced as well as they can be in the UK (or at least around london). Most clubs and pubs only accept a driving license or your actual passport as ID. Even off-licenses are getting more strict. The police are nice and friendly though, and so as long as you don't act chavvy, they'll just confiscate your alcohol if they find an under-age person drinking.

I assume its pretty much the same in America.

Laser Tag

Played some laser tag yesterday, was pretty awesome but I've been before so it was all competeitive with my friends, we basically ende dup wacking eachother with the guns and I just kept dancing in the strobe lights. We played 9 straight hours and I'm fucking knackered.

Pineapple Express and *Sigh* Disaster Movie

Ok I also saw 2 films in the same outing today, Myself and my friend Andrew both have cineworld unlimited cards so we pay 10 quid a month and can see as many films as we want, We went and saw pineapple express which I strongly recommend to anyone, it's a great film, really funny and is a parody of other action films without actually being a parody movie. It is really great.

On the other hand I also for the lulz saw disaster movie out of boredom. I went in trying to be against the majority. 'I'm going to watch disaster movie and I'm sure as hell going to try and enjoy it' But sometimes the majority can be right. IT IS LITERALLY THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN! It doesn't parody, It literally takes jokes form other films and uses them in their film. And it was in production when most of the films where only anounced as trailers, God just go and watch it to say "I SAT THROUGH DISASTER MOVIE AND LIVED!"

By definition, a parody is just something that mimics and slightly alters something else. It doesn't necessarily have to say anything satirical. It's just that almost nobody is lazy enough to parody something without a humorous purpose and expect anyone to find value in it :/

I've never used it with scenes but you should probably need to do it in every scene.

Disaster Movie
I saw it yesterday, it was great. The references were great, I even enjoyed the ones to films I've never seen. Epic movie was good too.

I kind of tried to do what mose videogame accessible teens do at paintball/airsoft/laser tag and so really stupid stunts, I tried to do a gears of war style roll and just nearly broke my neck, then I tried to vault a 4ft high wall whilst still shooting and just fell over the side onto someone in cover.

It's all great fun.
