I did not know that. Here's another fun fact.

Organize them by date. Instead of doing a logical order, it organizes them alphabetically by day of the week!

Wait, wait, wait, wait. I thought time and day were just stored as a single integer? You know - the non-retarded way of doing it?

Why the hell would they arrange them as strings? What possible reason cold there be for converting the time from a perfectly good and accurate integer to a string, and then using that to order them?

:(

I've shared this link with a few of you, but I think the rest of you will enjoy it as well.

Dear Adobe

I enjoy it a lot. It makes me feel like my problems are shared with the world.

Depends on how you sort them. If you sort alphabetically (default) then that would be the case, but not if you sort numerical.

arr.sort(Array.NUMERIC);

I'm not talking about code, I'm talking about the library when you click the tab "Organize by date". I really have no idea what adobe was thinking when they decided to sort that alphabetically.

Anyway, I heard you and Edmund planned on expanding the Aether game or a sequel. Is this true? I must say, and I don't say this alot, that this is one of the best games I've played this year, all platforms (not that I play much games anyway but meh). I really loved it and have played it a couple of times even though it wasn't really that great the second time because I'd already solved the puzzles. Please make more.

I'm not going to refer to any specific plans about the next one we make, but I will say that this first one was sorta testing the waters a bit and getting a lot of feedback, cause the next one is planned to be really huge. Don't except it any time soon cause I have to juggle it with school and stuff, meaning it's mostly going to be a summer project stretched out over a few summers.

Honestly Glaiel, that game was flawless.

:(

I wish I knew about it before i started making my rope swing game >.<

Aether was uber pretty D= lagged my pc (pretty good pc) but I think that was the 2 annoying ads at either end of the game.

University in 2 weeks! OMG SCARY!

That was the last one no worries. Everyone has to go through their phases.

Anyway...

CDs

I only have like 2 CDs - Aerosmith: Armageddon and Pink: Missundaztood. I've been thinkin' 'bout getting more, but I have like 1700+ songs on my computer and could find any I wanted in less then a minute. Do any of you guys bother to buy CDs anymore even?

Also I'm going to start behaveing I think. I've given into influence too much lately. :P

LOL brilliant collection.

I do buy SOME CDs, only bands I really like.. System of a Down (+Scars on Broadway, Serj Tankian), Billy Talent, Kaiser Chiefs, Metallica, etc.

If you have a huge collection of songs on your PC don't bother buying CDs, just.. don't get caught. Dun dun dun. My friend has 80GB of music on his PC, he's very into music (doing a music related course at uni, wants to be a producer, has his own band, pwns at guitar, kicks my ass on rock band) and he's bought about 5 cds, ever.

unfortunately i rarely buy CDs too. yesterday i downloaded over 60 songs and i feel a bit bad about it. The music I listen to isn't popular at all in my school. For some reason I really like emo and metal songs, but I don't dress like an emo at all and definitely don't act like one. I've actually never seen any "emos" (regardless of whether they cut themselves or not, just ppl who dress like that) because it's very rare in france, but this year there's two new "emo" students. i loled when one of them started playing bullet for my valentine on his phone after gym and the whole class went like "ahhh!!" lol.

I hate emo kids, the ones who sit on bus and play emo music, theyre no better than chavs. No offence, you said you weren't an emo, and you know I love you :]

If we talked about this 2 weeks ago I would agree with you liam. but those two guys are really cool. Due to having little rl encounters with them, I assumed false things about them. you take the guy's hair away from his face, make him listen to more popular music, and he's just like everyone else. I don't know where I got the impression that they usually aren't very smart, he's actually doing very well at school.

anyway, nuff said.

i was actually considering to turn into an emo :p

also i just noticed that when i bend my back, it looks like my fat is a 6 pack abs lmao

I've been working on some drawings lately and their not all that good : / Then again I'd like to think that I'm definetely improving. I won't bother posting them since it's just two still pictures.

Question: How do y'all draw grass. Just green with tufts, green with little specks or something else? (Random question but I'm struggling with drawing "nice" grass.) GRAASSS......

I'm pretty sure c# varies from country to country, so one function might be spelt differently here. C# is one of the most used languages, the rest of the world uses it a lot.

Emoness

I've got to agree with liam on this one, some emos are just as bad as chavs. Although, that said, i do know a few people who are "emos" that are alright, but i can't think of any chavs i could stand for more than 5 seconds.

I wouldn't consider myself emo, but I listen to the hardcore genre of music (Bless The Fall, Bring Me The Horizon) so people naturally assume I go home and cry about my feelings. Other kids also assume all bands I listen to talk about death, killing, shit like that, and yet, I hate that DeathCore shit. I mean cmon Bless The Fall, All That Remains and As I Lay Dying are all CHRISTIAN bands, to name a few.

and to alpharius, i agree with u man. a lot of the stuff i listen to is probably about suicide and shit but u know what, i dont give a shit. as long as it sounds good and the lyrics aren't TOO weird im fine with it. i listen to all genres though, just not as often as emo. except rap. it's very rare that i like a rap song

Emo's
Don't judge someone just by their appearance, I wear skinny jeans and have an EMoesque haircut and I bet I watch tons more spor tthen anyone around. Plus I'm a big fan of Fatboyslim and pendulum.

Gifts for relatives
A word of advice, Don't think "I'll make a flash for my relatives instead of getting cards, gifts etc It'll be cheaper and easier" This was supposed to take 1 day for my sister, it ended up taking like 3.

Yeah, i don't think i fall into any particular category, and i'd rather not. I don't think anyone knows the definition of emo really, i've always thought of emos as self-harming sociopath who generally doesn't enjoy life. If you don't do said things, you're not an emo in my books :P.

Emo

Just cause I made 1 emo game does not make me an emo....

Response to The Flash 'Reg' Lounge 2008-09-09 16:52:01

emos

Last year, (or was ir earlier this year?) there were people gathering to go and punch their local emos, it was all in the news and stuff. Some kids got together to go and beat the emos in their town, then it went to the news, then emos protested of wanting respect, and more people gathered to beat more emos.........

I dont like emo culture (tho some music is fine), but i dont think they should be exterminated, when i see an emo i just leave him/her alone, dont bother him/her or try to be his/her friend either.
And yes, i have an emo flash, and im not proud of it.
A lot of people hate emos just for following the trend of antiemo as some others are emos just for following the trend of emoness..

Hating on someone because they are "emo" is no different then hating someone because they belong to a different race or religious group.

Have anyone of you even tried to be friends with an "emo" kid?

Most people like to be treated with the same respect you would expect someone to treat you with.

I don't exclude emo kids, and I wouldn't intentionally disrespect one either.
But anyway I'm also considered emo by alot of kids in my school because they haven't been exposed to a real emo. They just think, "Oh look kid in band shirt! EMO!!!"

"Yeah, Well you know reahnna the famous singer (idk how to spell it), well me and her are like, soulmates you know? like she dropped out of high school when she was 16, at the same time she got a big record deal and became famous, im 17 and i am gonna become a rapper (note, she's still in school.. >__< ), i mean because my songs are absolutely great, and i've made 1 already, cuz i know this guy who owns a recording studio, and like you know, it was meant to be. i wanted to be a tattoo artist before but of course now i know what i have to do, because everybody was made to do something, and i'm a rapper, its just who i am right? and like my mother doesn't get that at all, she's just like not understanding of the.......... etc etc etc"
