I learned Java for a year in school, but haven't really gone anywhere with it as far as creating anything superb, just minature programs and computing competitions.

My dads a computer programmer, and he's been teaching me of a bit of HTML and Java.

Exactly, HTML allows you to feel hyper badass. It is easy though.

I'm not a regular, but I would like to say that the fact that Flash CS3 is not backwards compatible with Flash 5 kinda pisses me off...but it's understandable, I guess. Just would have been nice.

I cried in the corner all weekend. Hah, nah. I finished my Psychopathic quiz which I had been stalling for a couple months now. I also downloaded some more music. Then I went for a 5 hour hike. All things I would never do unless I was really bored.

the lounge can't be locked, cause it says it was unlocked monday, and it's sunday now...so wtf?

Tom mentioned some time ago that he would release one of the early builds of castle crashers as a flash game, they started over quite a few times over the years so they definately have versions of it that never made it to final production. It'd be a good fix for the x-boxless crowd i think

3. Ordered my school books.
4. Barely worked on Flash actually, but did get other things done.

oo_oo I've just been working on a new game. I have 2 in development and one is so much better than the other so it's not motivating me to work on the 'worse' one but I have to finish both anyway.

I ressurrected an old epic game that I got frustrated with a while back...hopefully it will be worth the amount of work it's requiring.

Also, I set a weight loss goal and a goal to race in a 206-mile bike race in September of 09. Pretty daunting, but I have a friend who's done this kind of crazy stuff before who is helping to train me.

Radio!

I've discovered the awesomeness of radio while you're working! I'm addicted to BBC's comedy schedule right now. It's great - drawing and animating takes up the visual part of your senses, and the awesomeness of Armando Iannucci takes up the audio part.

Everyone here needs to try to get into radio. I had no idea how much of it was filled with the great comedians you see on TV and thing 'man - this guy needs his own show!'
