Awesome music, it would be perfect for a menu, infact, do you mind if i use it for my next game?
I left a review.

Fucking kick ass, Mr T has been finally turned into a sheep. The game looks great so far, looks like a fun game :). If you need any coding, don't hesitate to ask.

Sure why not? :P
I was actually singing it a few times when I was screwing around the last few days. It's catchy. ^^ I should get my buddy Phil to listen to it. He'll probably get a kick out of it.

Every day is flash productivity day. you must post a sample of your recent work before u can post on the reg lounge or u get banned! (or not). Well it's your choice really, I guess it's just for the mentally challenged 13 year olds who have troubles concentrating on flash for more than 5mins.
Here's something I made really early this morning, which it turns out atomic-noodle just sent me to work on for no reason, and that's not ACTUALLY what he wanted me to do.
here it is, a NEW version of Breakout.
DarkMana, you should ask DeltaLuca [now that he's back...] about this thing that he made with a light system, where not only would your laser be stopped by the rock, but parts of your Flashlight would also be stopped by it, so it would be reallllllllly realistic. Luca, if you have any idea what I'm talking about, do you remember where your link was from

...and this is my fag...
how about giving the rock a higher depth than the light?
Ok just finished the last thing of the day! Decided to make a boss... although I think I just made a shit load more work for the coder, because the screen will have to zoom out when fighting the boss, as its way too big.
Sorry for double post!

Haha awesome man those are well cool! Ill have a go at making one if I have time, they look fun :) How big are they?

Thats cool! The light thing you were talking about sounds good too, I bet you could make a well atmospheric survival shoooter with that, you could have bullets casting dim light and cool shit like that :D

That's looking really cool man. This could definitely be a fun project I think. Keep it up!!
@Kanadian-Keith
I think it looks pretty good. I agree about some of the background buildings looking out of place when they get too small. Also, put some variation in the clouds. Besides that, it's looking like it'll be a cool game.
Here's my productivity thing so I can post again.
I'm sad that I won't be going to PAX this year...going house hunting in NY instead.
How do you like this image?

Also, we have finally reached the good ol' page of 1234 :)
I'm doing something productive now. I'll post screenshot later.

Maybe we'll wait a few 1000 pages ;)

This is something random which I was planning on using for a menu... The buttons would be in the gap to the right... It kind of went pear-shaped so it's not really all that great however it still produce from my productivity :D

u could do it the way it works irl. create many movieclips with API and project them forward until they hit a rock or reach their limit. of course it would lag a little :P

I think the drop shadows look good, but then again they could lag aswell if you're planning on having lots of objects. It's a nice idea though, it should be a good game if you can implement this all in.

Productivity Day Thoughts
I was quite pleased with yesterday, i feel somewhat optimistic that this thread is finally going in the right direction. Maybe we should make a habit of taking one day out of each month to just post updates and other shit ... although you are always be welcome to post things youre working on.
I guess sometimes you feel more like sharing when you see other people around you doing it as well.

Productivity Day - Thoughts
I agree with Luis on the idea of having it every month or so, but I think starting September, we should have it on weekends, because it will allow for those of us with school to really take part.
1234!
Sweet, now the next ones we have to reach---
1337
1500
2000
2222
2345

Why settle for less than we can? I think if we made this a habit of one day a week (yes I said it) we would accomplish things way beyond our expectations! =)
i agree, productivity day is a great idea. (although i didn't do anything productive yesterday). It doesn't really need to be a day though, people should just post their work more often. If you look at the last 50 pages or so before productivity day there's really not many posts about flash work.
OK well i just bought this XboxLive Arcade Game called Braid, and its an awesome game but so confusing. Srsly its all about time manipulation and trial and error, the game lets you lose so you can try again, if that makes any sense, so you can go backwards in time whenever you want. But every world has a different way of manipulating time and its so freaking hard, the aim of the game is to collect puzzle peices but its so hard to get them! People should really check it out!

Tis what i have been working on in the past while. The plan is lots of weapons. Lots of enemies. Good backgrounds. Destructable environments. All that good stuff.
Change weapons: 1-7
Movement: WASD
shoot turret: E
Click E. Then click to shoot the turret.
Obviously needs alot of work. Tell me whatcha all think.
I did not do anything for productivity day and only just worked up the courage to post in case you all want to murder me.

nice work. i love the shooting. the character movement is good as well. The jumping bugs me a bit.. the way the squat before the jump takes a bit long.. in fast and furious battle i can see that becoming really frusterating... maybe you can tweak that so that its less emphasis on that?

Yah. Would work alot better for a game that was slower. I just liked it because it actually looked like he jumped. Looks like his legs actually put in the power to jump that height. I'll see what i can do about speeding it up though. And speeding up character speed overall. Tis a bit sluggish.

I agree, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sake of better playability. Maybe you can keep it as is and just have to modes of jumping maybe if you hold down jump it triggers that jump where its higher and puts more umph into it.. where as if you tap jump its a quick leap.
