I'm trying to get in to the exact same mentality. I do the same thing as well. Have Flash open, but then drift off and check out some other website or go do something else. It stinks.

Also, it'll be cool tomorrow to see what everyone's working on, and everyone should theoretically be productive :P

SHIT! Why do I always choose the wrong day to be productive. I've been fucking excessively productive today, well, in everything except Flash so far. I finished my 500 page book, cleaned my room, and finished my sketchbook tour piece. I guess now this'll make me just feel a bit better, because I haven't done something in Flash in a good 24 hours...

Today I found I've made some progress. I have got into the habit of coming here less so that's one less distraction under my noes. Although I still found my focus slipping. Working with a time limit has helped me. One hour ago I thought, right, one hour - lets get some done. I've got two more frames finished (actually more work than it sounds) so am happy for that. It helped setting myself a time frame and I will do this tomorrow aswell.

Treat it like a job. The plus being it's a job you love -- and if not, atleast it can be a job that's not as bad as others (working in Tescoes for example..)

Yeah, should do. I've come to find that this forum isn't the best place for feedback. I posted something in Toast's thread but the next two replies were not in response. Infact I myself only bothered to check two things in the thread and didn't give feedback on them. The artist showcase thread is a good one.

That's your problem right there. I have a PS3 with many games and online (well, it's my brothers) and I've played on it about twice since the beginning of holidays, it ruins my creativity, I get addicted easily.

And I must agree with Mogly that here isn't a whole lot of feedback going on in this thread, most of the time, It really depends on the user showcasing the work. I must admit that I'm also part of that problem because I sometimes can't be arsed to reply to people asking for feedback (make that most of the time). So from now on I'll better myself and give more feedback to the people asking for it.

Also 20 minutes left till the fifth here, so this is my last non constructive, non progress showing, non feedback giving post for a whole day.

my guild name sums up WoW gameplay (and pvp on high level) pretty well: RNGaming - Random Number Generator gaming. RNG was used by players who played wow for a long time, after a while you get to a certain level where you pretty much know everything about the game and can't really get better. at that point RNG is the only thing that matters.

Aye, the talent lists annoyed me too. I mean, two two-handed weapons? Ok, sure, it sounds cool, but isn't that all a little too much?

Still, instances and general scenery always improve with expansions, and I always like games with bloody nice looking surroundings and impressively integrated soundtracks.

On a side note, I've been levelling a lock for a while, and everything that everyone says about them being overpowered is true. I'm half way through my Outland levelling, have a spec completely based towards consistent farming and reducing downtime, and still I can take down most classes around four levels above me, outdamage (and underthreat) everyone else in instances (even peeps a couple of levels my superior), and look damn cool while doing it.

The only reason I can think of why locks don't rule the universe is because most of them don't know how to play their class properly. I actually saw one riding around with full health and under half mana today. Hahaha.

I just beat Intrusion. It is a fun game and I wasted a lot of time playing it, which is good because I don't have anything to do. It really brings back the feel of Metal Slug and is just an amazing game. The other games on the front page aren't so great, like Orange Runner, (no offense K-Guare) Mindfeed, and Totally Calum Best. I think too many people are just 5ing things to get there 5 votes of the day. They don't play the game or anything.
