I'm going to go out on the limb and say he means "stopped motion," like when people are frozen and other people are running around kicking them...I might be wrong though...

Also, we fixed some security bugs and made some other changes that will make the site run a bit smoother. We can't wait till its up either :P

Ah I loved the Matrix when I was younger, and it's still one of my favourite films... but I did a presentation of it in English so all the research kind of made it feel a bit boring =/

I'm working on finding out whether quitting my day job is feasible. If I can commit thirty hours a week into game development full time, I could have a game done a month. I'm finding out whether 120 hours of solid work is worth £2000 ($3900) to sponsors...

Ya I saw screenshots. Looks neat. I love tactics games. In fact I have a 6 page document detailing one I want to make on my computer here. Unfortunately, it's beyond the capabilities of flash (so I'm waiting a few years and doing it for the xbox live arcade)

Why wait? You'll need an impressive demo (and maybe a good amount of luck) to get approved fro this. Are you intimately familiar with C++, DX and the programmable graphics pipeline? If not, it'll very likely take a few years to get there, and then still be a challenge to work on an unfamiliar platform. Or is that the reason for the wait?

Alright, so I know there are a couple people here who can make their own music. I am asking for a 8 bit techno song to fit with my collab (Pixel/Grid Collab, check my sig.) The reason I'm asking here before I ask in the Audio forum is because the people here are my buddies...Or at least know me.

You would of course be in the credits and be in the little audio credit thing on the submissions page.

Future Career With What you do.

Im a Flash Artist and i love doing things involving graphics. Id like to move on to 3d games i think. It just seems fun to work with. I actually plan on working with Valve, the people who make Team Fortress 2, Half-Life, basically the Orange Box. I just think it would be a cool job and i love the games they make. Dont know which one yet, but Animator, Graphics Designer, or Artist all sound good. =)

After college? Im not sure how it all works in the Marines, but my brother is in the Forces, and after he is done, he gets his college payed for by the government for serving. Might want to look into that. Do college for free after serving???

And as far as doing this kind of stuff for a living, I might actually be doing some work for a game company here in town. They need a flash guy, so they came to me. Had an interview a week ago. Wont be doing any work for them for another few weeks though.

And the guys who im working for next month came from BioWare, which is only a 4 hour drive from where i live. So, I'm getting my connections.

Bethesda sounds like a fun time. Of course, my wanted future job at Valve would be a step up for me, seeing as how if i wanted to design a lot id have to learn some 3d. Of course i can always learn. Hard or not it still seems like i can have a good time there with the team.
