That's awesome. Sounds like a banging set up you got there. It makes sense to me to blow 1000$ on a Cintiq rather than a better HD monitor...especially for the arting.

When I got to try out Jeff's at the NG Office last year, it was pretty sweet. It would definitely take a little bit to get used to, but once you are there, I can't imagine going back. It's definitely something I'm considering in the future. I've got my tablet, the tablet monitor is just a small step up.

i've always associated people with levels. it's odd. i usually just look at the level icon and i can generally guess who is talking.

It's coming out early September I think, since I asked recently @ GameStop....or Spot, whichever. They're also already hyping it as the creators of it, so I'd suspect if they don't think they're going to make their due date, they'd stop hyping it so much themselves. I dunno if I'll get it though.

Yeah, it's been hyped for like 10 years, and they're just NOW getting their creature creator done, lots of vaporware at work, but looks like an awesome concept, if they ever finish it.

Help needed D:

So yesterday morning I signed into msn to get the error:

So I clicked don't send and restarted Windows Live Messenger and got the same problem. I restarted my computer.. same problem. I reinstalled it.. same problem. By now I was pretty annoyed and was trying anything so just tried installing messenger plus! to see if it would work then. Oddly, it did. So I thought the problem was solved but now I'm having the same problem again.

I have now discovered that the problem goes as far as Internet Explorer which also gives me this error.

Any ideas as to where the problems coming from? I am doing a virus scan now and that hasn't shown anything thus far.

PS. I only get the error when I actually sign in to windows live messenger - not when I'm singed out. Windows Messenger (the standard one that you get with XP) works fine.

The case could be that you're connection to the internet is to fable. I have that sometimes too, but not that Error-message.

I'm not sure if its the internet as it appears to be running perfectly normal. Although recently we have been having trouble with the internet - it keeps needing to be reseted - as well as the TV. So if this fails I'll try reseting that and looking more into that.

I've done some extensive googling and found that the problem isn't that uncommon yet a lot of the times the problem occurs is when there is a lot of spyware or something like Smiley Central. I don't have smiley central or the alike but I am also running a spyware exam. Funny enough, when it scanned internet explorer it came up with 329 infections. Fingers crossed this is the problem.

The problem would be your teledistribution, if it also happens to the tv. Your Internet and you television are connected onto the same hub in your house.

Coding as a nervous reflex?

I'm smack down in the middle of my exams and I have never coded more in my entire life, it's like I'm on coding crack, right before my first one (like an hour before) I made pong for no apparent reason. I don't feel nervous (or at least I don't think I do(?)) as I have automatically passed all my classes, even if I get a 0 on all my exams, and I am not yet far enough into high school for my grades to impact any scholarship or such. Could my sudden rapid coding be a nervous tick or a subconscious release? Has anyone else experienced this? Is it the same for artists/animators? AM I JUST GOING INSANE?!!?
