I like how everyone in here who is complaining about Newrounds changing signed up in 2004 or 2005.

Tom and Stamper just layed the smackdown on all the whiners. That was awesome.

I'm happy that NG is going to evolve as a site and not stay the way it is just to cater to users that want to live in the past. Even if you don't like the changes that are coming, you should atleast respect the amount of time that Tom and the gang are pouring into these projects.

I think you guys are worrying about the blog thing to much. If NG gets more spam then they'll get more Mods. The only problem I see is that it's gunna destory the General forum and there won't be anything to talk about without getting baned for "This should be in your Blog.".

Will the user pages allow custom code, a basic layout, or a mix of the two? Would it cause a drag on the server to allow custom code? Also, if you do allow custom coding, would it be HTML and CSS?
Overall, I believe that the pages will be a nice addition to Newgrounds. I can see where it would be beneficial to an artist who does not have the skills, time, or finances to build an actual website. Maybe it will allow for the growth of artists who would have otherwise remained stagnate. It will be great to see if this goes well.

on the contrary, it's not actually a bad idea. If Flash artists can give updates for...stuff, when why not, and yes, it would be a great place to put "my breakfast today" topics.
