Here's the problem here - you guys are so caught up in being non-conformist assholes that you're pushing away any ideas that loosely revolve around a journal/blog concept. We are simply giving people a place that they have total control over, a place to speak, inspire people, and show the world what they personally like. It's what people want, it's what people get. Most people, artists especially, will use it for news and updates on what they're doing, have done, and will do.
Once you tag the word 'blog' to it, people immediately hate it because everyone is so quick to go against trends, as if they're proving something. When I told you not to look at it as a 'blog', I meant exactly that. Don't look at it as a 'BLOG'. The word. The trendy word. This isn't MySpace. We don't cater to ignorant faggots off the street with nothing better to talk about aside from how much they hate working at Wal-Mart and how much of a bitch their ex-girlfriend is. The entry posting system was initially intended to advance artists and keep our community tied together creatively.
