Yes, it would be!

Wow, I love you :) Thanks soooo much. People in the programming and flash forum were telling me my name looked like an alts name with the 2.

I just got shocked when it said I wasn't logged in properly :)

Thanks again Tom!

I tried clearing my cahce, but if i'm missing something, please tell me.

Also, if it's possible, i'd like the name Jambone. I don't know if that user was ever active or not.

Sorry, Jambone was moderately active for a time, so I'm not rushing to take away names from users who participated in the site.

Silly rules, but okay, as long as you let people with hyphens take the old unused Vagrants.

I hardly ever come here anymore....

Hey Tom, since everyone's getting users that aren't around deleted to get the name they want, could you please get rid of "MadCow" for me, because I never really wanted the hyphen in my mine :[

Happened to me about a week ago. I think it;s just a server issue. It should go away soon.

Well I guess the only thing I can do is put the hyphen in between Shao and Khan--- But it sure looks really bad. :(

What makes it right for you to be Cory and the other Corys not? First come first serve, just because they haven't been on Newgrounds yet today? What if a long time regular, or an affiliate wants the name Cory, should more important people get the name?

Meh

1.Sorry Tom thought I deserved it.lol I hate gettin on a mod's bad side!
2.Cause I freakin asked first!

while you're at it, is there a chance you'd clean out some taken names that aren't used, but don't have the "-" kind of deal going on? i'd love to use the actual charLotte instead of using this capital i kind of thing as a replacement, as well as rae for my other account (rae-).

Over the next week I'll try to accomodate everyone who contacts me. I want to make this as painless as possible for people.

Hmm, I think it should work out. Although you are going to be very busy and should get Wade or some other Admins and or Mods to help you out in the changes because I predict a flood in your PM Box. Most of the names that people would want are by inactive people so I think it would all work out. And I'm glad that you did this actually because I'd like to see more originality and personality on the BBS and not such dare I say, "cliche" names. What happens to the Inactive people that you take the name from? Do you change it to something else, delete it? And if so what do you change it too. I know you're busy and all but just curious.

I'm glad you did this though, I hated the - and the __ names.

Response to New Username Standards Sep 9, 2006

In a parody thread of this, I noticed subpar made the point about putting numbers in your name too. It looks pretty stupid if you ask me, because a name is a name, names don't have numbers in. :/

But then again, if that was a rule then there would be some pretty good names which would be disallowed, so I guess not. :/
