I think he'll only delete names to give them to people who have underscores/hyphens.

It must be hard enough to keep up with everything.

Also: If you type something before newgrounds.com and then click a link, it shows that you are logged out and treats it as a new site, ie: tomfulp.newgrounds.com

Feels good to be hyphenless
Many thanks Tom!

No more will dyslexic people get confused when searching for me.
But seriously... One of my friends just never caught on.

I know I already got my main account changed, but is it possible to get this one renamed to Rifter or Drifter?

Sorry for all the requests :(

He updated mine for me when I asked (Which I'm very grateful for). I imagine the amount of work he's doing is immense. I'd be a hypocrite to tell people not to ask though, wouldn't I?

I know, I was previously _Ace_ and I changed my name due to the rules, but I don't want to keep this name that's why I asked.

You're not the main character.

Well, Bronco seems to be taken, but I think he's an inactive user because he has no posts. Could you let me have Bronco as an alias?

So does that mean I have a rare username now?

Response to New Username Standards 2006-09-09 18:34:38

When will names with the letter "X" before and after them be invalid?

Response to New Username Standards 2006-09-09 18:35:43

"Bleh" is taken >:\ Now that I'm changing my username, I can't decide whether to use l-Bleh-l or Matt-M.

Recommendations?

I suppose this is a good change then, I've always wanted the name Kuro.

That has nothing to do with hyphens or underscores... let's focus on that first, eh?

if you can't use _, then use ¯ lol!

Response to New Username Standards 2006-09-09 18:40:19

theres something wrong. whenever i try to change it to Doobie, it says that there's already a user with that name.

Response to New Username Standards 2006-09-09 18:40:44

I can see this being used to stop people from making fake accounts but I still don't see why you can't use "_" anymore.

I hated hyphens and underscores at the beggining of a name, but not in the middle :(

Just another example of the man keeping me down. Oh well...

Oh noes! Now I need a new sig!

Bleh.

Response to New Username Standards 2006-09-09 18:43:11

Oh, you'd probably be able to have Ace then, as long as it's not an active user already.

Response to New Username Standards 2006-09-09 18:47:18

Alright! Now I'm orb! Thanks Tom, now I'm actually viewing this update as a good thing for me :D

Cuzz thats not a legal domain letter. Only alphanumerics and hyphens inside. Hyphens are not allowed in front of or behind a domain name. That's all that this is for, I believe.

At 9/9/06 06:40 PM, -Doobie- wrote: Whenever I try to change it to Doobie, it says that there's already a user with that name.

The user "Doobie" is presumably inactive, he/she/it doesn't have a profile.

At 9/9/06 06:43 PM, lol_internet wrote: Tom can you please change my name to jacktherack?

If he doesn't fill out your request, send him a PM or email, or both. "jacktherack" doesn't have a profile, so he/she/it is probably inactive.

NOTE - If you want to find out if the name you want is an inactive account, go to your inbox, click "Contacts," and add the name you want to your contacts list. If he/she has a profile, check to see if he/she has shown any recent activity. If they do not have a profile, then They're probably inactive.

Tell me about it...

I agree, those ones piss me off.

LOOK AT ME I'M XxX_XRUPPECLOCKX_XxX

What about usernames with fuckloads of numbers?

I'm sure we'll get someone who'll want to name themselves after an anime number like Goku, only to realise it's taken so they stick a number relevent to them on the end like 11, to make Goku11.

That was actually my first username on anywhere, when I was 11 years old...
