I dont think so, because the judge is somewhat of a contestant. He/She needs to be complety one or other.

Right... well, I´d like to know exactly HOW MUCH you´ve done on the collab, MaestroSorrow. It is a NO to begin with, but it might just be that there is need for more judges, and then, depending on how much youve done on that song, i might call you in. I just sent you a PM, when i havent read this, so well... :) This what I write here is valid.

It is a slight problem if you in some way have difficult being objective, but also, if I decide to call you in then of course you WILL NOT judge the submission in question. But i am going to try find other judges instead, sorry.
Also, the collab mean that you, MaestroSorrow, cannot submit a solo submission. Only one sub/person, and if its a collab, that´s what´s there.

I've found a window of oppurtunity to come pester the crap out of all of you : D.

And since contests is an awesome way for us all to learn and bond, I decided what better time to come do more stuff for the people here.

well here's my submission for this MAC. It isn't the one i was initially gonna submit, but this is a decent prospect.

I made it today (thursday) in five hours as i was bored shitless. and it's come together really well. I used Cubase sx, a korg legacy cell, crystal, rhino FL for the beat and my trusty axe. hopefully it'll do ok.

Cross Judging System

Okey....
I´ve been talking about a "cross-judging system" if we get enough participants to the contest, and by all means we do! :)

In this example, there are nine songs to judge, and there are three judges. It have been decided that each judge will judge six songs.
Now, we´ll try to make this as fair as possible. Since different judges WILL judge differently, this is their personal taste that will play a part. Even if we came up with a really massive judging system, there´s still a big room for personal judgement and likings, it´s just human.

So, we assign the three judges to judge the songs like this;

- Judge 1 judges song 1-6
- Judge 2 judges song 3-9
- Judge 3 judges song 1-3 and song 3-9.

I have not yet assigned any judge to any songs, because there might still come in more submissions, and there´s still room for more judges.

HOW the judges are encouraged to judge you can read about in the first post in this thread.
I will send each judge guidlines that are a little more on detail than what you see in the first post here in this thread, but it will be basicly the same. keeping things simple, ya know :)

I will assign the songs to the judges during the first of august.

I will let submissions starting from 11 to be tied. The reason for this is because top 10 are going in the G9 podcast.
If theres a tie of some of the top 10 submissions, I will ask of the judges that have not judged one or none of the submissions in questions to make a judgement according to the guidlines and such.
If there still is a tie, I will take it upon myself to put the submissions against each other, and make a judgement myself. That is a quite unlikley event, but well, if it happens, then ill make the final decition.
