Alright, sorry Rucklo if I seem to forward posting in your thread... but here's how I think it's going to work.

10 of the top tracks will be posted (depending on the number, for example, if there are only 11 tracks competing, then probably only the top 5 will air). Now the only difference between this contest show and the normal shows is that it airs only monthly (first week of each month) and that the artists make their own commentary about the tracks. Just send up your comments and I'll read/record them. This is different two the regular shows, where I make short commentary.

Rucklo will give you the final say.

According to the rules, you can submit oonly one song. It should be clearer and say only one file sry bout that.
If you wish to submit something long you would have to lower bitrate quality. I would suggest you submit a smaller part (movment?), if it´s a really long thing going on.

Lol, well in total my sonata when finished will be probably about 30-40 minutes.

I'll just submit another piece instead ^^

The songs that will be in the contest is the version you submit to the portal.
DavidOrr was nice enough to voulenteered with some webspace, but this "first" contest will stay basic and simple.
It wouldnt be fair if you got to exceed the 4meg limit... Actually, that´s about one of the few rules this contest have :) Can´t you cut down the length of the song or so?

Not this month, not the next one either... But SOME month. I think a collab-theme for the mac would require quite some arrangement and coordination, so we´ll establish the contest with some easier themes to begin with.

The rules for submitting audio to NG AP is valid also in the contest. Meaning, if you make a cover, that is acceptable. All samples/synthwork must be originally yours/permitted to use. Is there something in perticular you have in mind?
