Obviously, a lot of people want to be moderators, but saying: "Ooooh me! pick me! me me me me MEEEEE!" really isn't going to help.
Just post cool and suck up to the current mods... i mean... er....

That's true, I walked into ModCon 05 a guest, and came out a mod...oh yeah, but there's the point, we have to INVITE you first, if you just randomly show up where we are, I guarantee we will kill you, and someone may then eat you. We're harsh muthers, Philly will never be the same.

It shouldn't be that easy next year. You should have to past tests, like in a frat. They should have to wear T-shirts that say "Newbie bitch" while walking around town, and they should have to spin in circles with their heads on a baseball bat, and then run out into traffic.
Furthermore, they'd have to fetch the beer, anytime somebody wanted a brewsky.
I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.

more information plz i don't get it
.
truthfully, the best way to become a mod is to kill one of the existing mods, after which you grab an admin by the throat and demand a mod-ship or they will find their testicles superglued to their lips for the rest of their life.
Ecks dee at people actually considering ModCon 06 as their path to modship.

That's the beauty of it... It's located somewhere in America, and you are given clues and have to find it.

Haha poxpower you've made everyone so excited....
Wade, we've been through all this.
I have in my hand an executive order from major general lord cornwallis demanding that you cease this charade as a Newgrounds administrator and admit that you're attempting a slow but sure cessation from the queen and country that allowed you such liberties, as a decietful tactic in order to obtain your own kingdom which will know you as king lord prince count emperor president.
You can't have a kingdom, a lordship, a principality, a county, an empire, and a republic all the same time it doesn't work that way.
you gotta do this to be a mod; be fore warned
I agree, Wade, hire only those you personally know.
Are you saying that Wade only makes his friends Mods? That ruins the entire fairness of the NG system. People shouldn't become Mods just because their Wades pals, but because they deserve to!

yeah, but wade eventually becomes friends with all the people who are active enough to get attention. if you're an active participant, you most likely cross paths with him at one time or another and get to talk to him.
If you want my advice, which I really hope you do because I'm gonna' give it regardless.
There should be a list of people who are most likely to be nominated, that way you get the research out the damn way, and have more time to kick back with your flowbee hair care kit.
Whatever works for your income bracket.
I want to know how big brandon became a mod

Lol, I think you mean, bigbadron? I dont know either. He was probably mature and did mod type material.

Or not, I've talked to him once via the forums and I can say that he doesn't know who I am now because of that.
Only giving those who knows him the oportunity to become a moderator is very unfair.
Culture is to society as cancer is to the body. We need structure, dicipline and no more relaxation.
No more gentle shit, pain is the fundation of a solid nation.
Does it matter what level you are or anything like that to become a mod?

Wade doesn't know everyone he mods.

Not really. The lowest leveled mods are level 9s that don't deposit.
i'd like to be a mod, you know just help out, tell noobs what to do, lock this, explain that. it'd be awesome, just that, don't you have to be in the BBS atleast one a day to be a mod? because that's asking too much from me. I mean, come on!! Also, don't you have to be a certain age? Correct me if i'm wrong, but i havn't seen any 15-year-old mods around...

Yeah, but i think they backslided to level 9 after being modded, im not too sure. Some people just dont have the patience to deposit anymore, which is kind of lame in my opinion, unless, your like that Crimson_Edge fellow, he has a purpose to it.

Yea, being a mod would really be livin it up

Ok thats cool. I am almost level 6. I deposit everyday.

That's why rumors are just that. Rumors tend to leave out huge gaps of information, such as one of the new mods already interacting with Wade as a review mod. Both were recommended by the then current mods.

FUNK and Nephthys have never been above level 9. FUNK does it out of principle, and Neph simply doesn't have access to internet as much anymore.
The first time I talked to Wade:
RedCircle: Hey Wade
Wade: Who are you?
RedCircle: I'm your mod, dude.
Wade: Oh. :-)

Are you trying to say that meeting Wade has no effect at all on who he chooses to be a moderator *cough DS cough*? I have no doubt that aveiwaskewed didnt deserve to be mod, he should have been modded ages ago, before you and the rest at the time, but Uberbarista?

Fair enough, i didnt know that i guess you learn something everyday.
Just admit it, knowing and having good relationships with the mods is much more important than being a good poster.
