No offense Wade, but in your attempts to make the portal a better place for everyone else you're making it worse for a very large group because of a minorities actions.

Yes, so often when we make a flash we make threads asking to fifen, not to win portal awards or anything but just out of support mostly, most clocks vote 5 once like we're allowed, the impact is minimal mostly of about .05 increase.

I'll admit I did ask some people to review my submission once and it got underdog, but I don't intend on doing it again, my submission was never even intent to get an award, infact just to wish a happy birthday, and these people chose to review, they didn't have to.

The real culprits are the SS members mostly, most of the clocks/locks that do award cheating like this usually associate with them.

In all honesty though it's our right to vote and review, I only vote once a day and don't use any alt accounts and you're saying i'm not allowed to support a fellow clocks movie now?

As far as I'm concerned the SS shouldn't be cheating like this and some Clocks and Locks do too, but more members need to take the time and try to prevent things like this themselves.

You can't just limit our freedom because we chose to be in a group, that's like saying for example, Jews aren't allowed to vote normally because of their beliefs.

'Ban all 13 year olds' is a stupid idea. Most of t he '13' year olds you see aren't 13, they put that in their profile cuz it's closest to what age they really are.

And just because I'm 13 doesn't make me an unfair nooby spammer and unfair voter.
I vote fairly, and I don't vote on the same movie very often. I haven't been reviewing as much as I usually do, but when I do review, it's completely fair and honest. (except for two that my brother reviewed) You'll probally see only about 2 or 3 of my reviews being marked as abusive or not helpful.

Anyway, I like the idea Wade, except for the group one, that one is unfair.

OK, just one thing I feel the need to point out.

If you prevent Clocks from voting on Clock movies until the Wednesday AFTER their submission, you are DESCRIMINATING against perhaps the 2000+ most active users on Newgrounds.

You must keep in mind that you are a CO-OWNER of this site, and Tom happens to support our stance. He anticipates Clock Day, and even sets up collection pages for us. The clocks have been around far longer than pretty much any user who has complained about mass voting. If they don't like it, why can't THEY visit another site?

This is totally about your own personal crusade against "bad" Flash. If you want to prevent groups from flooding, then I highly suggest that you and your LEvel9- supporters scrutenize the entire database and delete every Clock/Lock/Glock/Block etc. movie and account. IP Ban every one of us. Ranting about it on the boards has only brought attention to you and Newgrounds. The Clock Crew tries to avoid negative attention, and we suggest that you stop, think and do the same.

BTW, I still plan to fifen and review movies I like whenever the fuck I please. I won't let you stop me.

Many ng users are 13. I am 13 and I try to be as civil as possible in my reveiws. Banning all 13 year olds would be stupid. There are alot who are immature, but many aren't. That would be the same concept as carpet bombing all of iraq in the hope of killing a terrorist or two.

Moreover, this isn't happening on the Star Syndicate boards (at least to my knowledge), so we have no control over it, meaning the entire group is not at fault, just the perpetrators.

Let's say most of the people that hang around the general forum have a higher tendency to abuse votes and reviews. So anyone in general for a given amout of designated time is hereby ordered to not vote and review until awards are given out. So anyone looking to review will only do so between the days and hourse of ____. Why stop there why not segragate users of particular clubs? The DBZ crew is more likely to be biased toward DBZ flashes so we should cut them out of the equasion as well. Don't forget the sprite club too. Or better yet the site can designate pre-approved users to make the decisions for everyone in reguards to voting and reviews. Hand picked to vote just the way the site wants.

Too true. I've seen certain popular artists linking their movie to their entire contact list saying "vote 5 review 10", yet they're somehow above the rules just because they appeal to the lowest common denominator.
