Using a computer programme to pull data from every(or nearly all) profile on Newgrounds(basically).

And does that take up bandwidth from newgrounds or something?

Apparently the scripts caused Internal Server Errors because they were "over loading the database" by loading so many newgrounds profiles so quickly. Link.

I guess the reason I didn't ask was that I assumed the answer would either be "no" or "too busy".
The positive aspect I guess would be that liljim would never have to do any stat programs because volunteers, like myself, could do it for him if only they just supplied us with the information needed to make them.

I can't believe this. Pubert_The_Giant hasn't deposited his experience in ages and just when I'm about to challenge him for the 79th spot he unexpectedly materializes to preserve the 10 point gap. There is no god. >_<

I called it. I said you'd pass Kitty for the 79th spot :)
Pubert has deposited, just not very often. Actually I was surprised when he completely stopped like that. I thought for sure he'd deposit at least once before you challenged him for that spot.
I am number 1,672 on the top 2,000 experience users. I am in!
Welcome to the Top 1000 Monthly Users Exp Update
Current List

Contact Me
Well you are going to notice a lot of changes. So be prepared for a new look.
You may ask why not the full 2000, You will notice once you get to the 900-1000 group the amount of movement gets insane.
Plus to me it would seem a bigger deal to move from a 4 user ranking to a 3 digit number.
Notes about the List:
The list was updated 5/01/06.
The current month is listed first, with current rank, username and experience. Then you have last months info with rank at the first of last month then the username. Then exp and then we have change in rank since last month and change in experience since last month.
In case of a tie I give the nod to the lower profile id, if a non profile person is tied they go last.
I only concentrate on the people moving up on the list now, the slackers should get no attention. I mostly do things in groups of 100 for moving up except the top 50 since it the only part that NG lists.
Well the top 50 saw no one joining it.

I didn't know you started doing the monthly lists again ramagi. I should start checking the forums more often.
Well expect me to enter the list by the next update.

I never stopped, the format took a big change back in March, plus I now post in this topic. I thought I see more responses by now, even though people had to wait for my comments till I got off work for my update.
nice update ramagi.
Looks like many users in the top 24 have lost a few deposits.

You're right, there should be more replies, especially now that it encompasses 1000 users, where before it was only half that.
People may still be adjusting to the new format and maybe haven't clued in that your list was never discontinued. Not sure why anyone would think that your list was ever discontinued, unless they haven't been reading through the posts.
Just for a conversation starter, I notice that the top 50 hasn't seen any action for the last few updates.
Since TheRealRebel appears to have stopped depositing, it looks like Phylos will be able to use that to his advantage in order to position himself in the top 50 before the end of the month.
the next 4 in front of me have seemed to of stopped depositing so its all upwards for me for a bit.. yay!
Moving up into the top 200 are LDonDoli, iscrulzs.
Congrats to us both.
Nice monthly ramagi where did the s come from rofl hey

I've got some slow-movers and some inactives that I'm coming up on, and seeing as how SCD seems to have done a similar move in the past month from approximately my position to an entrance into the top 400, I'm hoping I can do something similar for June.
I have my sights eventually set on catching a couple of people that I won't mention just because I'm afraid they'll deposit consistantly to spite me. :-)
I'm also amazed I managed to avoid missing any deposits this month. I didn't spend a single weekend in any place with internet access, a couple of times I was lucky to find an internet-enabled computer and most recently deposited in a drunken stupor without full memory of actually depositing. Good times, thems were.

Nice update ramagi! =) I guess around two weeks until I enter the top 900! Wow, I am surprised I am quickly going through the 900 - 1000 EXP ranks. But I am happy to get further up the EXP ranks! =D

Whooo!
I did this on like, April 2 or some shit, so now I'm actually way in there.
I shall join this group soon enough. I am very close to hitting #2000 user experience- points wise.

Welcome to the top 2000 KungFuCow :)
I've just realised that I've been in the top #500 for a while now. Yay!

Yes you did BBB. You win a cookie :) Double chocolate chunk I presume?
Pubert has deposited, just not very often. Actually I was surprised when he completely stopped like that.
Heh, surprise wasn't the emotion I was feeling when I saw "ranked #78." It was more like elation!
Well Nostradamus, who do you think my next victim will be? Parasoul doesn't show any signs of slowing down so my guess would have to be either sabcat or bigbadron.

I'll guess sabcat because he's not depositing... but bigbadron does deposit, so all he needs is two more to get past sabcat and I'll bet that he'll deposit AT LEAST two more times before you get close to him. Then bigbadron will be the next victim after you're finished with sabcat.
Hey whatever happened to ht52? Is he dead or in the hospital? Did his harddrive meltdown? I've never seen him miss this many deposits in just one week. Also, note that Shrapnel missed the same amount of deposits... hmmmm.
Looks like Pimp will be the reigning champion for a long time to come.
Here's the screeny, of ht52's downfall, for archival purposes.
