Well you are going to notice a lot of changes. So be prepared for a new look.
You may ask why not the full 2000, You will notice once you get to the 900-1000 group the amount of movement gets insane.
Plus to me it would seem a bigger deal to move from a 4 user digit to a 3 digit number.

Notes about the List:

The list was updated 4/01/06.
The current month is listed first, with current rank, username and experience. Then you have last months info with rank at the first of last month then the username. Then exp and then we have change in rank since last month and change in experience since last month.
In case of a tie I give the nod to the lower profile id, if a non profile person is tied they go last.

I only concentrate on the people moving up on the list now, the slackers should get no attention. I mostly do things in groups of 100 for moving up except the top 50 since it the only part that NG lists.

Well the top 50 saw no one joining it.

Moving up into the top 100 is Soul_Edge.

Moving up into the top 200 are LDonDoli, iscrulzs EviLudys and Ozcar.<BR><BR>
Moving into the top 300 are Dent0n, Rabid-Echidna, Grandfather-Clock, Philiolioso, TimScheff, Zetsubou, and EnigmaWave.

It almost happend last month but had some cordination issues. Got everything the way I would like to see them, I did include a bonus to last months update with the new format. Since the list is all automatic now I can just do the comments which allowed me to expand coverage. U\You can Also thank BBB for his assitance. He made my job a lot easier.

I'm also glad I could help expand your list. I remember a long while back when I first saw your top 500 list and before I started my own list, I thought "I wish it was top 1000 so I could be on there". Also, I knew at the time it would be another year before I got onto your list. It was actually part of my inspiration for starting my own list, so I could track my own progress before I finally got on to your list last month.

I'm at #302 now, so I should hit top 300 by next month no problem.

Yes if you deposit like you did last month and moving up +13 spots, it shouldn't be a problem.

BTW to anyone that's wondering how someone can have 320 points in 31 days, it's because of how my program works. Sometimes you might notice in the top 2000 there's 80 exp points in 7 days. It's because my program records each day's data at exactly 4:45am EST. That means last week or the 1st of last month they must have deposited after the 4:45am EST update when it syncronizes with Newground's update. So say if I deposited once in the afternoon and once after 12am EST, then at 4:45am the next morning it will have appeared that I deposited twice since the last update.

Whoever has 320 points at the end of the month, you know that they must have deposited AFTER 4:45am on the 1st of March and they deposited BEFORE 4:45am 1st of April of last night.

Thanks for pointing that out. I always appreciate when people catch problems that I miss. It helps me debug my program and here was a good example of a problem that needed to be fixed.

You were supposed to be right there where that missing number is between ying-yong and GalvatronX. I fixed it so that you're there now and hopefully noone else should go through this problem in the future.

As for the "last week" thing, it just shows your progress since the same day last week. That's why it says "Monday of Last Week" meaning that it's comparing today's Monday with last week's Monday. It's not how often it's updated. Also, if you get into the top 1000, you get the bonus of being on ramagi's list, which includes commentary and it gives you an indicator of how far you moved from the first of each month.

Woohoo I am now the top of the Level 19s. In the Newgrounds army I am now the commander of the weird spike on a chain division.

In two weeks however I will probably be the rookie of the level 20s.

As for the updating business: the list seems to update every time I force-refresh the page.

See that's what happens when I leave the job up to a program. It gets confused and just hands out a level 30 to some random user.

I had to fix the experience requirements in my program, they were all fucked up.

These past few weeks have been really strange in terms of my experience. I've seen month after month go by where I never missed a deposit but remained stuck at the same rank. Then recently I miss 2 deposits in a row but climb 3 ranks on the list with tonight's deposit. I doubt dl_Monk will make a surprise appearance to thwart me. Next rank up I'll be saying goodbye to the 80's.

Well it shouldn't be too strange when you can see with this list exactly why you're not moving up any ranks. The people just ahead of you keep depositing and keeping a hold on their lead, so you have to wait until a few "dead ducks" float by, like dl_Monk. I'll make an obvious prediction and that is you'll be passing Kitty in almost 2 weeks to get to the 70s, but until then you'll be stuck in the 80s. Also, if bigbadron keeps laggin like that, you could be passing him too before the around the middle of May, depending on how much he deposits.

We need one of these for b/p.

If I felt that Wade wouldn't get pissed about the massive profile mining, I'd do it. The reason I can do the experience points so easily and keep it updated, is because there's very little profile mining involved and most of the updating is based on tracking the top 50 deposits page. I haven't thought of any alternative way of getting the B/P points, aside from some help from Newground's admins giving more easy access to stat information.

I thought Bonus was depositing for her at one point. I guess he gave up or she changed her password. It's weird how you remember these people being such high levels years ago and then suddenly you're within striking distance. Waiting 2 weeks for the 79th spot ain't no big deal. ^_~

Well after checking your list for the second time tonight my next potential targets are:

1.) Pubert_The_Giant
2.) Kitty
3.) bigbadron
4.) sabcat

All seem to have little interest in keeping up with their deposits and they're also within 300 points of me. The next couple of months look promising.
