A bit off-topic, but has anyone heard this guy's music? He's definitely one of my favorite audio submitters, perhaps even more so because he's not too well-known...I think it's important to give people other than the 'big guys' extra attention/publicity, heh.
This track is very swell, in particular.
Anyhow, things have been kinda slow here lately...probably due to all the post-Clock Day depression. But remember guys, it's important that we do not give up in our efforts to protect the portal! If anyone has any information on submitters breaking the rules, or even suspicions they'd like to see investigated, mention it in our forums, in the secure rooms (you'll need to be verified to access them). Be sure to give as much information as possible, including links to the users and flashes in question.
In the next week or so, I'm going to be trying to make a more streamlined and organized way of gathering together information and compiling it, as well as investigating any suspected rulebreaking. This way information will be on hand and readily accessible in the event it is needed.
Also, we haven't had a lot of new members lately. If you know someone who is of Private rank or higher and interested in keeping rulebreaking flash off of Newgrounds, be sure to tell them about the Elite Guard Barracks! If they have any questions, just refer them to PM me, and I'll be glad to tell them anything they need to know.

I have now. And I'm glad, because it's finally good to hear someone other than ParagonX9 doing audio work. I'm not against Paragon or anything, but I just been wanting to hear people talk about someone other than him for once. But that's just me.

Incidentally, I think it's time that we reinstated the Barracks Portal Operations Officer position, at least until the barrage of spam has been alleviated. Since Clock Day, we have had a heightened amount of spam with no sign of cease. I am appointing SlashFirestorm to this role, as he has demonstrated capability to perform in this role over the past few days.

However, I can't have you join until you've qualified for the Elite Guard. This requires a rank of Private or higher, which is 2,500 B/P. Seeing as you are a Safety Patroller already, you obviously know how to B/P. So, I'll leave you to it. In the meantime, you might find the Newgrounds Police Department more to your liking, as they will probably accept you. Once you progress through the Police ranks and head to the Elite Guard, then you can join up here. Good luck!

Supreme Commander Eagle Rock, this is sergeant philonous reporting for duty sir. I have been on a protracted leave of absence but have recently rejoined the portal and am keen to start doing my elite guard duty once again.
If it helps my application process, may I say how keen I am to see an end to the spammy fflash from the kittykrew, froks etc. getting through and that since I've been back I've been doing my level best to blam it all...

However, it is important that I make something clear. We are not against any flash group or artist that doesn't break any rules. Our only official enemies are those who violate the rules of Newgrounds. That doesn't mean you can't zero flashes that you don't like, it just means that our official policy is individual decisions and unbiased voting (that is, voting based on each flash on a case-by-case basis).
If you're okay with this, go and check out the Barracks FAQ at our forums. Afterwards, if you don't have any questions, sign up there and I'll get you validated.
If you do have questions, PM me. I'll be glad to answer any you might have.

Let's see... ah, an update. Well, I am working on two Flash still and making progress on both. "You Love This Movie" is looking good. I'm working on that one with boinky33 who I think is hilarious (he is featured on the front page of www.AlbinoBlackSheep.com right now). Hopefully we can get a lot done on that in the next two weeks before he has to get back to college.
"Spaced Out 2" is also looking GREAT graphically. I'm still working graphics on that one for an overhaul. Man, does it ever look better than the first episode.
I'm also woking on a BYTESIZE for the frontpage on NG and that is about 1/2 done. If I spend 1 more day on it, it'll be done, I imagine.
Also thinking of helping out Casualty and making a Flash for his NGLog. He's looking to add Flash to it like BYTESIZE here on NG, so if anyone else is interested go check out his userpage.
Oh, and I updated my sig. Now it refelcts sergeant. I'm also 70% of the way to Staff Sergeant, so a couple weeks and I should have it. or one if I bust ass, but with all the animation I have going, I doubt I get to.

Is it me or the effects of Clock Day are still present on the Portal ?
Cause I have been looking at some UJ submissions today and some flash are spam and also some artists are submitting some of their flashs multiple time but under different names and they still get protected.
I can't seem to find the flash I'm talking about, but if I can find it I'll send the link to the EGB.

Thanks, EagleRock, for all that help when selecting my tablet and stuff. Good thing to know I have friends like you looking out for me. =P I just order my tablet, so when I get it, I will adapt to it quickly and draw out some major Flash art.
This could bring the Slash Returns series into a whole new light, even though my first project will most likely incorporate the Elite Guard Barracks doing its duty during Clock Day 2020, or maybe Madness Day if I feel like trying and winning the prize money. After that though, I want to make a Slash Returns movie that can be respected in the Newgrounds archive. All I ask if that the people who I mainly co-author (SlashFirestorm, AfroUnderscoreStud, and Cereal) help by writing some the of the story.
