I know I'm probably late, but I've gone ahead and filled out my little 'application' and I'm looking forward to the results we'll be seeing in this battle royale (or whatever you call it).

I usually split from the group, but I don't go more than 75-150 yards, don't wanna get too far away from the action. I use my primary weapon at medium range (around 10 metres or so from an enemy unit) and wait for a chance to down them, or burst out, crippling their group, even if it comes at a heavy cost to me. I use my secondary weapon strangely, at a longer range than I usually use my primary because I'm deadly accurate, espescially with pistols and if there's only one or two enemies i can kill them quickly and not waste any more ammo than I need to. They'll never see thier death coming.

I know it's kinda long, but ignore the boringness of my long paragraphs that aren't supposed to be that long. Aren't I somewhat like a reaper? >:)

I already know how the story will begin and end, so it's just a matter of filling in the participants and actually fleshing out the story. I'll be looking forward to your responses!

It's all good. I'm just using CS since that's what I know. I figured if I'm gonna write story, I need something I know in and out to use as my baseline.

Well, so far so good! I have 10 members set up so far. Interestingly enough, out of the 10 people, I have 1 team-player, 1 grenadier, 1 sniper, 3 rushers, and 4 campers (lol). Also, half the people chose Desert Eagles. Not that I can't work with this, I just find it funny. :-) I will need more names, though, as I'll need enough people to flesh out the story long enough to make it interesting. Honestly, I'd love to get like 25 people at least, but I don't think that many people are active around here. Oh well.

I'm deadly with my pistol, of course and if someone gets tooc lose, they're toast.

I posted this the night before the redesign so noone really payed any attention to it(for obvious reasons) or gave me any feedback to my question. Anyways this happened to me about a year ago on the Flash portal .

One night (after work) ,so I'd say at about 10:00 pm PST , I logged onto Newgrounds to see what flashes were under judgement and to vote on them. Yet when the portal popped up on my screen, there were about 30 flashes under judgement, and they were all from the Clock Crew. After watching and voting on them I was puzzled because each submission was just a screen saying, " JOIN THE CLOCK CREW", and " THE CLOCK CREW IS WATCHING YOU". Yet the two sayings were portayed differently on each flash, like Claymation, 3-D, etc. After that night I never saw anything like that hit the portal again. Now my question is: Has anyone here ever seen this occur in the portal?

I will have to say I have never seen this happen. Certainly not to the extent of that many Flashes.

Once in a while I see crews get 10 or so out in a day, but it's rare. And to that extent, I doubt that it would happen that much at all. Plus, it may very well have not even been clocks since tehre are so many fake clocks out there.

There's no rocket launchers in the game. The list of weapons is here.

If you're looking for a weapon that is pure power, you might want to look at the pump shotty (stopping power of a tank), the P50 (pure bullet-spraying goodness), or the AWM/AWP (one-shot kill heaven of a sniper rifle). If you're a team player that likes to stay distanced slightly for backup and for not hurting everyone else, the AWP would be a good choice, as you can use that when the time is right and use your pistol while in motion. I see what you mean. there really isnt alot at a time, but if there are 5 UJ, then as soon as they're done out come some more. Its continuous. I think that alot of people are in the FP because the UJ's are getting done pretty quickly.

The way the game is made, it would make it way overpowered. Like I said, you'll see it works just fine with how I'll integrate you in the plot.

Let's see the lineup:
Team-players: 2
Campers: 4
Rushers: 3
Snipers: 3
Grenadiers: 1

So far, I like the spread. Definitely less one-sided then I thought it would be.

Here's the weapon choices:
AUG: 3
TMP: 2
M4A1: 1 (that's surprising)
MP5: 1 (again, surprising)
FAMAS: 1
SG-550: 1
M249: 3
AWP: 2

Not too bad. I'd like to see more rifles and SMG's to even out the spread, as too many sniper rifles and PARAs will offset the story. I'm surprised people didn't go for the Colt M4A1 or the MP5 Navy that much, as they are the most-used guns in the game. The Colt, especially, is extremely powerful and has a silencer to allow for discrete kills from afar. Either way, I like how it's turning out, and I'll keep working on it! I promise I'll make this as best as I can.

Incidentally, I'll also post each chapter in the Barracks Forums for people to refer to in case they miss it and don't want to hunt through the thread to find each chapter.

Well, I was able to use my break to get the Prologue finished. I'll probably post it tonight or tomorrow, depending on how many people I have by then and if I can finish Chapter 1 with ease. With the posting size increased to 8K, I'll be able to make nice big chapters.

The more campes you have the safer you are generally, because campers ambush prey, essentially shielding the group from dangerous enemies stealthily and quickly. I don't blame them for choosing Desert Eagles, they're reliable, powerful, and fast enough to get the job done.

Yeah, but too many campers will screw up the plot. I need variety enough to make the story interesting. If everyone just breaks apart and camps in a corner, what's interesting about that? The whole Deagle thing isn't a bad thing, either. We'll practically be a squad of Agents. :-)

Well, if you need 25, would you mind if I brought someone in, she may not be EG (or the new just plain old 'private'), but she has played Counter Strike ever since it came out. Infact, I could bring in quite a few people for you, that is, if you're willing to allow non-EG's in for the fun.

Well, I'd rather keep it to the Elite Guard, but if I do take in anyone, it'd probably be from the NGPD. Another thing to consider is that there are tons of Elite Guards that are not active but have been integral to the Barracks, like Major_punk for example. So, I'm sure I'll get as many as I need. I have 14 already, too...

I'll be in the portal so I can keep moving up in the ranks and finally get to private so I can have my bragging rights back again. *sigh* I so wish that they would have just added on to the end of the already existing ranks. If they did, I'd still be an EGP FC. :(

Agreed, that'd be like hiding from enemies in dark corners and expecting them not to find you and when they pop up and kill you you'll have disgraced yourself with your cowardice... Slightly interesting, but ineffective... I choose the DE because it's an all around good weapon and it looks good too.

Paragraph: I stay close to the team 99% of the time, but sometimes divert from the group in very extreme cases. Usually I'll meet up with a nearby camper and alert them to the danger (this is for the story, if it is going to be sort of like real life)... As soon as I see an enemy, I'll gun them down or if I'm out of ammo I'll stab and beat them with my pistol until it is damn near impossible to deem them even similar to a human. I make sure to move quickly and stealthily. Even if they do see me coming, their death is a certainty.

I spent an hour on that, just so you know. I'll be in the portal for once tonight, so respond anytime. I'll be waiting.

Well, to close out the day, I had a meh day in the portal, anywhere from1 5-20 b/p's. Probably wont get many done tomorrow but sunday will be a good day for me. Time to go read my Harry Potter book.
